The bible is the Word of God and it instructs people how to live a holy and sin-free life and promised eternal salvation with God in Heaven. If you disobey and do not repent of your sins, those people will be cast into hell. God is sacred and a God of love and knows what is right for us.

@samueli94 Pardon me for intruding, but dear I have to let you know that when you truly are sorry and ask God for forgiveness He will forgive EVERYTHING that you've done- I used to have that kind of mentality, and because of that I kept getting myself into a lot of crap, and I was so far gone that I honestly thought there was absolutely no hope for me....and wanna know what happened? the Lord let me know that He still loved me..and so I cried out to Him and begged for His forgiveness

He's my REAL friend He answers me everytime I call on Him He has taken away any sicknesses i had He's taught how to be patient how to stop being a jealous person how to have <Christ3 esteem and not self esteem. My atheist coworkers are trying to get me fired from my job. After I professed my faith at work, which is medical research. I am trying to convince my coworkers the value of Faith and that's its unnecessary to validate a hypothesis or calibrate tools. My co-workers became jealous after I became twice as productive at work.

Think of it like an apple, 3 parts one apple, the skin, the middle and the core. That's why God needed someone to be a mediator between Him and us. Who not better than God Himself in human form?

How great our God is that he loves us enough to forgive us for screwing up time and time again, yet if we repent and truly mean it with our hearts he's willing to wipe away your past and give you a fresh beginning. No matter if you're a murderer, cheater, fornicater, curser, stealer, liar etc, nothing is too bad to be unforgiven. Jesus ALWAYS forgives and ALWAYS has his hands out for us grab and run with him if we just will. We have to stop sinning and turn to Jesus.

Eve was the first to be tempted, and she caused us to have original sin. Every time we sin, we are deliberately turning away from God. However, God can take away all our sins. He wants us to be with Him forever, and he is not here to condemn us if we want to be with Him too. Through prayer and worship we get tp know God.

loving jesus or god? i do have respect for them if they ever lived but i have much hate for religion itself can you imagine a world without it! I would go as far to say that without religion humanity would live in a much more peacefull place if u really think about it religion has created big wars and divided populations. all that to say that i do belive in god and jesus but do not link them to a religion god gave u one rule respect every human being and respect earth.

@SuperXscorpion it's also united people, kept people alive, kept people from fighting, giving people hope and comfort, made some people BETTER people, and gave people a reason to be here even if they wanted to die
religion isn't all bad, some people just need something to believe in. some people just take it too far

@hiimquinn I see ur point but I dont think it kept people from fighting or keeping them alive far from that religion always been a problem because there's too many question's about it every one has their own opinion shouldnt be divided in i dont know how many religions facts are religion has always been a bloody battle but now in 2011 u can see its kinda getting better less people are religious...

@SuperXscorpion no, in fact, MORE people are religious. it's just that they pick and choose from their religions, so their are less fanatics. and in all honesty, christianity is the one that causes the most bloodbaths and wars. i'm not saying it's TOTALLY their fault, every religion has done something their not proud of, it's just that christians DID do most of it (the crusades, Salem witch hunts, inquisition).

@hiimquinn According to the poll, which came out today, the percentage of Americans who define themselves as Christian has dropped from 86 percent in 1990 to 76 percent in 2008.
In one of the most dramatic shifts, 15 percent of Americans now say they have no religion -- a figure that's almost doubled in 18 years. Americans with no religious preference are now larger than all other major religious groups except Catholics and Baptists.

@hiimquinn yes i know its american but its happen all over (not as much as america) but im just saying that people are starting to ask questions about god and jesus without having any answers.. people dont think its as important then before thats why its slowly decreasing (very slowly if u look at it world wide) it starts like that.
