Don't let the sad video in this video fool you, you don't need to pray, you don't need a trusty ally to tell you that you cannot do it, lol. I dropped out during my sophomore year of high school. 4 years later, after naught a single study session, I passed the GED. My friend (whom had 2 babies after 3 years of high school) passed the G.E.D. She failed most all of her classes during her 2nd year. If you're like me, just study the math. It's a lot easier than this guy tries to make it to be.

@KaleidoKatie Me too, Katie. Trust me. I grew-up being picked on in school and never really did as much. I was placed in Special ED at a young age and suffered mentally. My self-esteem suffered as well. Yeah, I did some things that weren't right, but it was very small. The teachers didn't care and babied us. I still hate school till' this day. People I knew are doing better than me as far as intelligence.

I haven't done anything with it yet (I'm a huge procrastinator, which is one of the reasons I took so long getting it), but at least I have it now and it's a good feeling to have all of that behind me, and now when I'm ready to go to college or get a job I'm able to, no restrictions. =)

Gilcspin is young and intelligent. You can tell. If you're fairly young (under 21), and made it to 10th or 11th grade, you can probably take all 5 tests (cold/no or little prep) and pass. You can also go to any library or book store to get a GED book. Almost all of these have full-length practice tests near the back. For any test, you want to get about 30 correct out of 50 in order to pass. Also, every state offers free prep classes. If you have questions, start asking me.
I want to find one of those books. I went in to the book store near my house but it was closing down. I wasn't even sure if they made one like that but after seeing your comment I'll def. have to check into another place. Did you take the GED test too?

I'm in almost the same situation you were in, never cared about school in general. People told me I'd regret the decisions I was making but I don't. Yea, like you said, I could have a career right now. Less problems. But the path that I took made the who Iam right now. I Feel I'm stronger than I would have been without going through this struggle. Basically, I'm glad someone else has been through this and I'm glad theres a way out. go to citizens' high school online Get general education training from them.
Then go to community college or
trade school. They are lots of wonderful
