I was wondering have you ever used thought ruler? i was thinking of taking it out for another stardurst. Ive never used it once and sometimes wish i had a 2nd stardurst

I've used it, mostly when I'm reading a Book of Moon (or against random decks running D-Prison). Sometimes it's useful for beating over an opposing Stardust and gaining LP (sometimes the LP gain matters a lot). I've never lost games because I didn't have a second Stardust, but I have because of lack of TRA. The second Stardust is sometimes preferred over TRA, but not necessary. I've had the TRA be necessary over Stardust more than the reverse. But, I can certainly understand that thought.

Ive been running your deck for a long time and have my speical cards i like also. Have you ever tried enemy controller? There came alot of good things when i used enemy controller. provides def like book of moon but its 2nd effect has won me games/saved me. Can tribute stuff like mezuki/necro/goblin to take control of any monster e.g JD,stardurst,Dad

I have, and I find the random taking-of-the-Stardust to be far outweighed by shutting down a Whirlwind search, cool tricks with Armageddon Knight/Morphing Jar, protecting me from a Brain Control, stopping a DAD or JD when I have an opponent reading Divine Wrath, etc. The situations where Enemy Controller's second effect is really useful are ones that you rarely need to be so aggressive - it's cool but unnecessary. Book helps with more game-deciding things.

Milling=Deck to Graveyard.

Morphing attacks the hand. Nothing goes 100% correct in this TCG. Against LS you want to hit those Honest and JD. Get them out of the way for a lost Honest play or JD, that now Beckoning Light has to save. The Jar would stall Honest and JD plays at least once until Beckoning comes for the save. The same way you can discard a LS players Wulfs and Necros, you can also hope for the best and hit, Honest, Celestia or JD. Give them dead Wulfs in hand. Think before you post.

You make it sound like I'm bringing out Iron Chain on turn 2 or something. You only go for Iron Chain when Sworn's down in the 3-6 range, and a single attack either decks them out or puts them where summoning a JD and not winning that turn = loss.

well in my experience with the meta being as gy oriented as it is, its not jus ls, and that situation being as rare as it is, you'd be better off 9/10 grabbing gaia, rather than risking giving ur opponent an out.

mezuki, vayu, necro, plague, wulf, are all top meta picks, the situation of going for a second level 6 sync is gonna come up alot more often then ls being close to decked out. i understand where u are coming from, im coming from a statistics point. didn't think of that did u. brioniac is out so problem solved anyway.

It's a terrible card. When you can do broken things with it, you're in a position that you're already going to win. Early game, it's a useless card. Even late game, if your opponent Icarus/JDs/Celestias/Lylas or something on their turn, it's a useless card. It's a win-more card, not a card that helps you win.

Call of the Haunted only works well with Goblin Zombie. If someone targets Call with an effect and I chain it to bring back Armageddon Knight, Armageddon Knight ends up missing its timing. If not for that minor detail, Call probably would have made the cut. Without that, it's a card that's never necessarily, sometimes useful (usually only late game) and really bad early game (unless you open GZ, but GZ + Call openings are rare).

Trap Dustshoot fails by the same logic, except reverse situations. Early game it's awesome, but if I don't find it in the first couple turns, it's dead. Given that I don't have much draw power, I can't guarantee that I find it early. But, since the deck is slow, odds are my games will go long enough for me to eventually find the Dustshoot, usually when I don't want it.

That's a really old build. As much as Karma Cut seemed like it was going to work in theory, it flopped miserably. We've gone through a lot of testing to get to the build we're at, and even though it doesn't necessarily look great on paper, it's the most consistent we've come up with. If you like the old one, go play it, but I can say with certainty that it's not nearly as good.
