    on pull down movements.

    pullovers also work back without biceps

    also don't wrap thumbs around the bar and you will use less biceps.

    still you must really focus on pulling with the back and not arms or you'll really limit the weight you can use.

  • hey "anothersunsetfalls" all workouts usually work more than one muscle, it is all about form and focusing in on using the correct muscles while doing the workout. If you are pulling with your biceps a lot, yes it will work your biceps more, but if you are able to focus on using your back, it can give great results

  • They aren't many back exercies that exclude biceps, deadlifts kinda do they're the daddy. I wouldn't do 3 close (ish) grips sets like this tho as the biceps are getting too much use. TKMSeznam must be a beast I'm 210 and this guys bigger, i'd be happy with his size unless I woz in a pose down with ronnie!

  • as good as it is to have decent form, it doesn't affect how fast you put on muscle.

    It just helps prevent injury - so in the long term it would have benefited his mass gain in that he probably wouldn't have to take any time out to recover - but indirectly beneficial.
