Make sure that the music file is in .mp3 format, and the file is transferring correctly and not being corrupted.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the phone recognizing I have music on the micro sd. I tried the scan memory card option, and even went into the memory and looked under my songs, but nothing is there. Everything is in mp3 format, and shows up in the file when I use the card in my computer. Any thoughts?

Try updating your vcast to the latest edition. I can't really give much help seeing as my phones card reader just destroyed my card, so maybe when I get it fixed, if I do, then I'll give you more help.

My Alias 2 wont install properly when i hook it up to my pc, so I can't drag music to it. You think by buying a micro SD to it, itll fix the problem? Like will my PC pick up the memory card from the phone? Because as of now, I have no memory card, its just stock and it wont read the phone through the USB, cant put music on it which sux bad. no you dont. you can store the music on the phones memory, which is very limited, by using the usb cord that you can purchase for the phone. And google exist for a reason...

you are better off buying a micro sd anyway considering they are much easier to use and have a lot more memory to store things on.

umm i have itunes but because transfering songs from itunes only works on apple products, i just wanted to know what music "holder, library" whatever you wanna call it thingy you have.

I use itunes as well. You just have to go to the directory that the music you have in your library is saved in. You could also try just dragging the songs you want out of your library onto your desktop (dont know if this works).

The "memory card" or the MicroSD is what you put your music on. You are pretty much required to use a MicroSD if you want to hold a lot of music. If you want to store it on your phone using a usb and the same principles in my video apply to that as well

I'm srry i've never used sync so i wouldn't be able to tell you off of my head. It would be easier and more efficiant if you invested in a MSD. They have more memory. It may be because of that. Since you phone doesnt have enough memory to hold the music you trying to put it says error. Just a suggestion

Ok, ill explain step by step

i think this feature is only for the new alias

1.click menu

2.go to settings ans tools

3.go to display settings

4.click display themes

5.now click the one that says "my desk"

if you dont have that feature chances are you don't have the new Samsung Alias

if you got a play error then tht means you have a corrupt music file or it is a music file that can not be read by the phone.

I use .mp3 for mine it should work if your follow the steps exact
