I ride passenger with my mom and my friend, both have 1200+ cc's, and we do some helmet-scraping leaning. =] But I never hold on to the back because they are both unpredictable in accelerating. Instead I lean on the gas tank, but my arms are still around them. Keeps the weight off the "driver" and you feel a little safer. =]

@icanbeurbabygirl Everytime I ride with my dad, I usually put my arms around him(well when I was younger, I would clap my hands together), now I just put my arms around him, but I have my hands on top of one of another against the gas tank. Sometimes he is unpredictable with the wheelies...so yea.. its fun thou.lol.

woodenchairs is exactly right. If you only hold the back grab handle you'll become top heavy or you create a hinge point so when the rider wicks the throttle your head leans back and your feet come off the pegs and continue up and over your head. so as GAY as it may look and feel, one or both hands around the waist is the safest way. SAFETY FIRST!!!!!!!!(;

Great vid but youre really a lot safer holding onto the rider than the rear hand rail. Youre less likely to fall off and you have an easier time moving with the rider in turns. You can also take one hand off them when they break and put it on the tank so you dont slide forward. I no as a guy people give u crap if you do that but it is safer. Lotta laughs tho on espec the acceleration part. lol and i gotta give Chris some mad props 4 trying to convert u to Honda :D :P lol
