In X-Men Origins: Wolverine they showed Charles Xavier at the end of the movie when Cyclops and the rest of the escaped mutants got out and Charles Xavier was obviously much older but yet he was standing up even though he was paralyzed at a much younger age as showed in First Class. The same thing happened in The Last Stand when Xavier and Magneto were walking into Jean Gray's house for the first time when she was a child.
