I have NO desire to create a debate, as to whether competing through injury or through a sudden death, which is harder. And would much rather YOU didn't bother either. Some may have heard about Canadian Joannie Rochette's sudden loss of her mother IN Vancouver (she was there to watch her daughter compete). Both Petra Majdic and Joannie Rochette received 'The Terry Fox Award'. The award is presented to Olympians who embody the values of the Canadian legend.

She said that after reading his biography and fully realizing his accomplishments, she realized the plaque means even more than the Olympic bronze.
