After listening to this, I have to say I respect him more than I did. He does sound sincere and I do think he loved Amy and obviously she loved him more than anything. I think the drugs ruined it all for them. I think he is right when he says that had it not been for the drugs, they would have been so happy together. It's a shame, really. They had it all but threw it away for a high. Poor Amy.

She chose to continue taking drugs he didn't force her. People have to take accountability for their own actions. Do you honestly think that Amy blamed Blake for her downfall? I have another brother who is addicted to injecting pills and his wife introduced him to it. I had an alcoholic bf who always wanted me to drink with him. They don't want to party alone so they bring people in to their world. Love or not, it is what it is.

Why would you want the people that you love to be as miserable as you are . They can't blame anyone but themselves for using. I am not saying it is their fault for being an addict, that is something that is hereditary. But...it is up to them to seek help and get off of the drugs/alcohol. Both of my brothers have sought out help thankfully. It is a sad situation when people succumb to their demons.

He loved her, but he didn't know how to help her because he doesn't even know how to help himself, he did what he THINKS was best, and that was to stay away from her, and of course that didn't help, Amy already had alcohol problems before they married and she clearly had an addictive personality, nothing would've stopped her.
