Have you considered drawing the Emperor of Mankind from Warhammer 40K Zooc? From before the Horus Heresy that is. I think he'd actually be good practice for drawing tech for you, and he incorporates a few organic components, and he looks like a bamf.

What pencil did you use for this? The shading looks more grainy than smooth. Not a big issue but a different pencil that could've gotten a smoother shade could've made it look more smooth over-all seeing as it's supposed to be metal.

You could you look at some of the EVE Online spaceships, if you want to draw mech.

They have some very nice spaceships, with a cool 360 model viewer... Just google it, or pm me here, most people will probably also be willing to move their ship to a light source in space, if you want...
