This quote just gets on my last nerve "My two cents: Don't limit me. If I have a giant sized memory card that I want to save a movie on to let me do it" There is a reason its limited. Sure they cut it down a bit but the FAT32 storage system used by the memory card can only transfer 4GB at a time, no matter how big your card is. Unless you can create your own storage system without limits for DSLRs please stop complaining. It's not like you can find one that doesn't limit you anyway.
@BruckThatsMe They don't use the FAT32 file system, but DCF. There is also many other fully compatible file systems you could use. NTFS works great on memory cards, you just have to make cameras that can read and write to NTFS.
It doesnt need AF-S lens's, it can use any you will just lose some qualitys of that lens, and afs is not a mount retard, and live view does not take blurry, its just slow focus, this was the dumbest video on the D5000 i have seen yet
I think the only reason why they limit you to a certain length of movie is because it has something to do with the sensor not the amount of space on your card. I only think this cause my D90 gets pretty hot when i use the maximum amount of time aloud in HD, I could be wrong
@xXSadSnowflakeXx you're right. they don't want the camera to over heat and its just to be safe. because if you use live mode for a long period of time it will over heat and you'll get a warning about it and stuff. read about it in the manual if you still have it. lol i just got it and i'm super bored at school so thats what i've been doing. lol nerdy i know. i have no friends at this new douchey school. lol

O ha, I would bring my camera to school everyday if I wasn't so afraid someone would steal it.

Not worth the money. I suggest do some (few days) research, before you decide to buy a DSLR.
