I love this video. Honestly, this is the perfect song for them in their later years, when they're so in love with each other in such a devoted and comfortable way -- I can totally see them just snuggling back in their quarters enjoying a good video, or playing chess, or just talking -- this video captures the spirit of that love so, so much, and every time I watch it, I get a serious case of the warm fuzzies and "d'awww"s.

I love the usage of the V clips; I just watched it last night, and, holy slash, Batman, it's probably the cutest K/S thing since the sickbay scene. II and III were too angsty to really be cute, and I, sadly, could not find enough slashy cuteness in IV to satisfy me. Makes me tempted to watch VI tonight, despite the fact that I swore I'd put a couple of other movies in before I watched VI...

Your choice of song was impeccable for them during the movies. I think their romance ages like fine wine; it gets more romantic as the years pass, and it's really the emotion that pulls me to them as a pairing. That's not to say they don't have awesome UST, it's just that the emotion makes me more attached to them.

Anyway, this should be required viewing for every ST fan, whether they ship K/S or not.

I watch this video (and others) again and again, and am always amazed as to how the relationship between two ageing men can be portrayed so lastingly and poignantly.

I think Shatner's (in particular) acting must be commended in this. He is the prime example of how loving a difficult (Spock) person can inspire the rest of us - we love you, Bill.

Well, I suppose they're not actually kissing, but it sure as hell looks like it :D

In the movie Kirk wants to speak privately with Spock. We don't hear what they are saying because the camera follows McCoy, Scotty and Chekov. After a while Chekov looks around to see where they went. When the camera shifts to Kirk and Spock, we see that kissing part. Spock looks Kirk deeply in the eyes and says, "It's possible."
