Hey very nice tutorial but i got some problem i am a windows user i did what ever you said to make zend framework installed but when i run it through my local host i got an error that is
I added the path to the bin folder to my PATH variable in windows 7 x64. When i enter "zf create project zftutorial" i get an error: The command ""php.exe"" is invalid (not sure about translation now)
Another way is to put the Zend libraries in a common directory and set a variable in the config file for which version to get. Several advantages: (1) keep Zend libraries out of subversion (2) easy to tell which version you are using (3) multiple sites can use the same library files.

I use svn externals to include a specific version of Zend into my application (within library folder). Same goes for any 3rd party libraries.
