I think every1s being a bit unfair on the riding school cos its an open competition for people who didnt even learn there so saying people arent very good riders because of the teaching is slightly mean because you have no idea whether they were taught there x
Agreeing with equestrian161 and dressage and showjumping are very different training wise.... put the fences down a hole in the long term you'll improve faster.... saying that i thought many fences were very well riden by some :)
Simply because someone rides at a high level doesn't make him a good teacher. I have met plenty of excellent riders who are horrible coaches.
The main problem these riders have is that they are not in balance with their horses. Their stirrups are too long, which is making it impossible for them to close their hip angles and therefor either fall ahead or behind the motion. This affects their release and their overall efficiency as riders.
Yes this is a riding school and its acually very good the owner does above prelim level at dressage and its a show there there not exactly going to say to every who wants to enter "hey?? are u a shit rider if so u cant come" grow up and stop giving negative comments to everything peeps
thats some really crap riding.. specially the first one.. seriously, jump smaller jumps and work on your body position and balance and everything. thats for all of the riders,
Unfortunately no, I didnt get a rossete, I went clear in the 2 foot but as I was on a really slow horse I didnt finish the course quick enough in the chase me charlie. I also entered the 2"3 class but I didn't do too well in that either, better luck next time!
Yeah umm no offence but those riders SUCKED! Some need to learn to bend their horses, the others to make them go faster. The last one needs to stop leaning up the neck.
No offence...but you're a JACKASS! Unless you're a top showjumper yourself, shut the hell up. There's no need to insult people, everyone has to start out somewhere. But nvm I doubt you're worth my time, you second-rate little nobody. :]
