  • There are no rappers that can do that now, minus Kid Rock! Old School Rap is the best ever! We used to break off this song all day. Those newcleus kids were amazing! Best bass line ever!

  • lil wayne attempted it.

  • yeah he tried it at a concert i was at and it was terrible

  • the bass line. damn.

  • Love the tube socks on the white kid doing the back spin. The ghetto blaster brings back great memories. Bust out the cardboard and bust a move.

  • i never knew there was a video to this song!wow

  • does any one have the version where he says after the cryptonite, "well supa man looked up at me he said you rap so naturally, let me tell you" remember that part why do they always take out certain parts to a song?

  • I love this song i remember when it first came out, the radio station played it often and I miss the 80"s only if time could turn back. And as for the young generation they should take a page out of the old school rap music, because the rap music today is not what rap music was originally intended to be.

  • Awesome...when music actually meant something and it took talent to create a beat.

  • exactly what ppl will say about today's music 20 years down the road

  • I've never seen this video before...heck, when this song came out, folks really weren't even THINKIN' too much about the video. This was all about the music, the dancing and pure enjoyment. God BLESS you for posting this!!

  • you deserve a reward for posting this!

  • what?! oh!!!!!!

  • I am well aware of that, one inherits from house and the other from punk rock. I just have an ear for "backbones", as I see too much propaganda today (TV and Internet) label the eletronic music trend that's going on now as "electro". Maybe it really is the media's doing and not the people, but I won't forget down what made electro the music it was back in its day.

  • This is real electro. Not the 2000s crap "electro" (read as electro-house) sounds that actually sounds like disco. The beat of electro is hard kickin' and that mechanical sound in the background is prominent. Elecro-house, for that matter, sounds just like what you would get if you fused lame punk vocals with house music.

  • Are you serious? Electro house sounds nothing like how you described

  • Haven't you heard music from Ladytron or Miss Kitten or even Tiga? Most of their songs aren't electro, most are supposed to be New-Wave infused house music. My ears don't deceive, electro much more similar to funk, hip hop, and breakbeat music. The kicking drum beat & the mechanical synth is what defines electro.

  • I definitely have, but those are hardly even "electro house"

Either way, I dont think anyone has really ever compared electro house to electro or said electro house was an offspring of it. Its like comparing hardcore house to hardcore punk/music because they both have hardcore in the name

  • Modern hip hop ain't got shit on this !

  • Much Detroit love luker256! Thanks for the flashback. It's been 20+ years and I ain't never seen this video before! I would have like to have seen Superman fly into the video when he bust his rap though.

  • love it love it those were the dayz

  • This was when hip-hop was Hip-Hop..

  • when hip hop had the funk, not guns!! quality

  • This shit is magnificent. What the HELL happend to rap music?

  • iM ONLy 12 ANd FUKiN LOVE DiS SONg

  • WHAT HE SAID

  • great musik of the great 80`s

i dont belive that our children can told the same in 25 years from the musik today... sorry for the bad english... schools out for long time ;-)

  • One of my favorite tracks to break to growing up in the 80's. We got down to this in middle school.

  • I love the video as much as the song. Thats what it was like back then, it didn't matter about your colour or background, you'd be at the club and all of a sudden the b-boys would open up the crowd and start breakin, no violence, no hating, just full of energy, seeing who got the best moves. Thanks for posting this, it sounds silly but it moved me. I really miss those days, the best days of my life and I feel for these kids today they don't have anything like this in their lives. 5*
