Whale watching is great for wildlife, much better than killing them and makes more money for the local community. But when it becomes big business, you have to have some rules about staying away from the whales. Boat after boat moving through the whale's environment can get stressful.

It's the difference between one guy walking by you on a street and glancing at you for a second... and 50 people walking by you and staring at you ALL DAY LONG. That would stress me out, for sure.
