@freddie26123 Well....YES and NO....a Fan on YouTube did a rather good (for a ZERO budget) Fanfilm sequel.... and here is another one search under "The Thing Aftermath" for some reason the fanfilm sequel I mentioned has either been deleted or is being filtered out in searches.....I have it on my PC if you are interested.

For some reason won't let me post links (even to other YouTube films) and it seems the film may have been removed from YouTube (or more likely the RASH of fake "Thing Sequel/Prequels" recently due to the recent Prequel release they have removed it from searches.... EVEN SIMPLER Try .... vimeo.com (where the film IS housed) and search "Thing II fanfilm (complete film)"

@freddie26123 As far as a "REAL" sequel I wouldn't hold my breath....(however someone said the same thing in an fan forum some years back and look we DID get a Prequel ! However the poor performance of the 2011 movie would likely preclude any sequel....UNLESS and until it achieves the same cult status as Carpenters 1982 Movie in which case see you in another 30 years!!!
