well i went with the fsc 47 it was about 50 bucks more but the looks alone make it badass... the muzzle climb was reduced . recoil was affected but not in a bad way...for the money the fsc is a good buy...
i would like to see a demo of the fsc 47 im in the process of ordering one... is it worth the extra bucks to go with the fsc or just go with the j tac
I just bought an AK-103 today and might have to add one of these with a Blackjack Buffer! I haven't even received it yet and already I'm tweaking it out! (including a MultiCam paintjob)
dont get a recoil buffer they arent needed and its jsut a mrketing gimmick. The bolt never comes in contact with the reciever when you put a buffer in their it then gives it soemthing to contact with it which isnt something it was desighned to do.
@grayparatrooper i have a recoil buffer because my bolt carrier WAS hitting the back of the reciever, now i have over 500rds on this buffer, and i have had 0 problems. it is a blackjack buffer, some people might not find it useful, but i do.
if thats happening your recoil spring is worn and needs to be replaced. IF you watch the slow mo vids on here of the ak firing you will see it the bolt doesnt hit the back of the receiver.
I own a J-Tac and a concentrated flash is highly visible near the muzzle if you have even the slightest low-light conditions (shadeed area). Recoil and muzzle climb are greatly reduced, however, so I consider it $50.00 well spent.

Have you shot both the J-Tac and FSC47? are they equal in the muzzle rize dept? or is one better?

J-tac add buffer pad and a shock absorbing rear stock .

A comparison with the FSC would be cool, but the J-Tac looks like it does the job.

Just ordered mine. I like the Surefire ones. But they don't make it for the ak 7.62 yet.

That J brake looks like the clear winner. I may have to acquire myself one.

How does the J-tac compare to the ak74 style break/comp?

I wonder if the muzzle climb throws off accuracy on single shots...

The test was to show the muzzle climb and recoil. The J-Tac is a muzzle brake not a flash hider.

I know that. I still like to see what the blast signature of muzzle brakes are out of curiosity.
BTW nice Looking AK.

I would have liked to see some dusk or night shooting to see what the blast signature was.

out of the muzzle breaks only the bird cage had more muzzle climb than the rest.
