Simply put, the BEST vid I've seen on inking with a brush. No corny music, and you both describe what is going on. Lots of info that just hasn't been seen anywhere else. You are sharing freely your skills and techniques. I wish I had this info in the seventies when I was learning. Thanks for sharing!
Interesting, I ink with a brush, the techniques on display here, are actually much more like the way you would normally use a pen, I find it completely at odds with my own approach, of course there is no right wrong, all that matters is the end result and achieving the desired effects. Fascinating. Nice work fellas!
how you keep your brushe's tip so sharp? Before i depp my brush into the ink and it gets wet it has buff tip with hairs going wild in all directions.May when you introduced the brushes (at 0:59) they were already wet?. If not please tell me how to keep my brush at this condition
@gusmanfreeman Ahhh you seemed to dampen it a little too much usually you keep it damp and what i do is swirl it on my tongue and swirl it in a circle will save that bud
What a sweet looking art desk. That Two Fisted Tales cover is one of the all time greats. Mark, I think its safe to say your a Kurtzman fan ( as I am). Great tutorial. You guys both have that, what we call in the biz., "Razmatazz ". (say that in a Bob Fosse voice). Good job!
Thank you for doing this video! I've been curious about your inking techniques since I started listening to the podcast. It's great to be able see it.

@Artistram3d1 There's no point in me saying exactly what you said, you just said what I was thinking.
