however, the statement does hold some truths.

for by categorizing a group of individuals not only by their physical traits but also by their difference in cultures allows individuals to separate themselves from a group that is viewed as either inferior or superior. this allows one group to dehumanize another, dissecting others in various ways.

this of course leads to negative feelings towards one or multiple group of people. which is now coined as racism.
