A wonderful show, created with great intellect and passion for an artist/humanist who exemplified ab-ex movement, the political power of art and the transitions which were occurring from the east coast to the west coast with modernism and post-modernist art. A tribute to an artist who challenged the accepted notion of the depiction of war, offering hope for our understanding of conflict, the absurdity and failure of resolving differences on a battlefield with blurred purpose. A must for all!
