Hi there, the oil is available in the US. It is illegal to grow Hemp in the US but Hemp food can be sold. Our oil is available in a number of shops. If you get in touch here => goodwebsite.co.uk/goodContact.php
Does heating the oil cause it to become rancid (or generate any other toxicity)? Coconut oil is claimed to be more stable/resistant to oxidation and heat and therefor does not rancidise or generate trans-fats when heated. Is this true of hemp oil? Is there any sound science that demonstrate the health/efficacy of hemp as a cooking oil?
We would simply not deep fat fry with it (Coconut - because it is full of already 'saturated fat' is better in that case).
To sum up, it is fair to cook with it. Like with any other quality oils (Olive, Rapeseed/Canola...), you may just lose some of the Omegas at a (quite high) temperature, but this is to be compared with Coconut Oil that does not have any content of Omega 3.
@networkedfreedom Hi. You can cook with GOOD OIL. It does not become rancid. GOOD OIL is actually great for dressing salad or cooking/baking. We recommend a maximum temperature of 180 celsius though (we tested it with Liverpool Uni). This is similar to an Extra Virgin Olive OIl. Only at a much higher temperature (300+ celsius) you would start seeing a loss in nutritional value - meaning that you would lose some of the good Omegas.
@Franchiseeds Thanks Franchiseeds. If you have any recipes or GOOD ideas on how to have our GOOD OIL, feel free to get in touch on our Goodwebsite.co.uk
It would be great if Good Oil produced a version for bodybuilders and athletes with a higher omega 3 count to be consumed with shakes. At the moment I am mixing Good Oil with flaxseed/linseed oil to bolster the omega 3 count for the right balance. I believe for athletes to have the right ratio between omega 3 and 6 the omega 3 side needs to be 3x stronger in Good Oil.
It does taste great though and has helped my diet become so much more cost efficient instead of using Udo's exclusively!
@darkvoid86 Hi there, You are not the only one to use GOOD OIL in an active Diet. A number of bodybuilders are even recommending it as a good value alternative to Udo's Oil.
The ratio of Omega 6 to 3 is 3:1. Most people recommend an "ideal ratio" of 2:1 to 4:1 so we are right in the middle. GOOD OIL also contains Omega 3 SDA, a more potent form of Omega 3 than what you normally find in other vegetable oils.

@BrahamandMurray Unfortunately you are wrong. Udo Erasmus (the world's leader in research when it comes to essential fatty acids), countless nutritionists, trainers and bodybuilders have come to a consensus that the omega 3-6 ratio needs to be 2:1 in favour of omega 3, not the other way round. If bodybuilders are recommending it then they aren't educated properly.
@BrahamandMurray It is the influx of omega 3 which is needed to stop inflation and prevent problems with your colon, cancer and ability to recover from exercise and injury. I have done the math and the ratio needed to get a truly healthy blend of flax and hemp oil is 6:1. That is how deficient the oil is in omega 3 as a raw supplement and needs flax (the highest source of omega 3) to be mixed with appropriately. Your product is good, but inappropriate as a sole fatty acid supplement.
I dont see why male plants are even viewed as "bad" they dont even produce THC and this video shows how they are beneficial not just for the oil, but the ENVIRONMENT
wonderful stuff - I am trying to get everyone to grow with hemp technology for you! What a wonderful product you make for the world. thank you so much!
I use hemp oil in my sexy vegetarian cooking videos, check it out! Thanks :-D
