DCFS failed the child. They could've protected but saw that it was not finacially beneficial for them. They gambled with someone's life. They do it every day and focus the blame on a single person. They could've prevented this if they accepted a monetary loss by closing it down.
The fault is on the caregiver, but the blame is, undoubtably on DCFS/DHS/CPS. They could've prevented it. But, they would lose funding if they took the appropriate actions. They gambled a childs life for monetary funding. They lost less money by letting this happen. The child is gone and the family will be forever devestated. DCFS will deny any responsibility and cover their tracks. They will get away with it, too.

As a childcare provider I am sincerely sorry for their lost. And can assure you that not all providers care for children in such inhumane manners. Your video made myself and husband cry. It makes us think twice about who we let watch our own children. Again our deepest sympathy.
so sad - you kno in some states, you can't have a dog without taking classes and getting a liscense - But anyone can go out and have a baby without knowing anything about how to take care of them - the majority of kids are brought up through the use of assault and fear to "control" them - Where is the empathy? This is so sad like the little girl Kelsey that died of child abuse from her mother and stepfather. I hope people keep their children safe from harm and do a background check of day cares from now on, so we can keep our children safe from harms way.
