  • Paul Whitehouse is a very talented comedian, he's really hilarious!

  • the glaringly obvious question parky never asked whitehouse was: 'Paul, can you tell me why you've never been funny and that you only really 'made it' off the back of harry enfield?'

  • @maheestools You're a moron. See to it that your account is deleted from YouTube and you never comment again.

  • @DeanGoulding ok, dean. i'm now off to send that request to the ceo of youtube on your sound advice. however, before i go,can you tell me why the only gig whitehouse gets these days is those shite/cringey aviva adverts? in fact, don't bother, as i've answered it myself in my previous post.

  • This man is a genius!

  • My dad looks after paul whitehouses mum :)

  • Paul Whitehouse - comedy legend. Paul O Grady - 100% not funny.

  • who's the talentless prat next to Paul ? - what a tosser

  • R.I.P. Rowley Birkin QC... :(

  • Genius of humour....amazing

  • The man in Iceland where he went fishing = my godmother's dad. Small world :)

  • Paul Whitehouse is a genius.

  • The 15ft high club - love it!

  • Whos the unfunny fuck on the right??

  • @Pippin76 Paul o'grady

  • Paul Whitehouse is the best British comic actor of his generation by a country mile. There's an air of tragedy about him at the same time as he is making people laugh out loud, it makes him unique.

  • I drive Brrrm brrm whooosh brrrm eeerrrrr wahahahaa. I wihha chry loa dooooooooosh bo bobobobobo... I wihaha aaray rily. Ah hoo hoo hoo aah aah! aah! I gida rieds n birlallala. I afraid I was very... very drunk.

  • O'Brien makes me vom, the other's movie;

  • Is he really a cockney? From his shows you can never tell. Best comedy actor since Peter Sellars. I really like his new show with Harry Enfield (well, most of it).

  • Paul O'Grady wants fucking with the rough end of a pineapple!

  • @oldtintoys I agree. He'd probably get quite a kick out of it though.

  • Great comedian, and one of the most likeable!

  • Oh yes, Whitehouse would be welcome round my house any time........

but if he was to piss on the toilet seat, and not clean it up, i should say.... Oi Whitehouse.............................

  • "one girl was very badly burned!" LMFAO!

  • the fast show ruled.. shame anyone ever used a fucking LAUGH TRACK.back then ..watch old fast show and the laugh track fucks your mind in like massive hammer/cock in the face

  • CAIRO!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

  • @KabishkaVersion2 poisonous MONKEYS !

  • one of THE most underrated comedians ive ever seen.

    i think hes brilliant.

  • paul whitehouse is a one off. you will not see anyone as funny as him in your lifetime. the gezzer is a living legend. ah viva. !

  • Jed Thomas!!!

  • Paul Whitehouse is an absolute ledgend! If it was all clones of him doing the acting on the Fast Show I would still watch it!

  • Comment removed

  • @Empirical1980 If I had a monkey that could do what Whitehouse does, I'd make sure it was paid well.

  • Fantastic comedy actor and writer. In fairness, Harry Enfield is a great comic actor too, but Whitehouse is something special.

  • @pdrg well said whitehouse is a legend,

  • Hey I just saw a hairloss product commercial, which was badly dubbed into an Australian accent.

  • legend, him and his boy Charlie Higinson

  • Johnny Depp said Whitehouse is the best actor he's ever worked with.

  • Totaly 5 STARS. What a legend.

  • His Michael Caine is totally spot on!

  • check him out as Martin the vicar in Bellamy's People E4 - BBCi player from 18'58 onwards, very funny.

  • Such a talented guy!

  • the gezzer is a legend, whitehouse is the most underated comedy writer and actor this country has ever produced, proper.

  • "One girl was very badly burned" LMFAOOOO

Brilliant stuff. I Always wondered where the inspiration for Rowley Birkin came from.

  • Well said Uberglocken!!! Bloody load of tosh, rubbish and utter twaddle......Little Britain. Hate it, hate it, HATE IT! And that's me shouting..........Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson? Talent, pure and simple.

  • whitehouse + higson = comedy talent. . . . the best ive seen in my life time. . or parkinsons !!!!!!

  • @MadAsABoxaFrogs No shelf life, Fast Show is just AS funny now, whereas Little Britain isn't and wasn't all that first time around, a couple of sketches maybe, Lou & Andy and Vicki Pollard.

  • @MadAsABoxaFrogs Yeah! Little Britain. What the fuck was that all about? Did we actually laugh at that fucking shit?

  • A dood .

  • legend,Funny stuff and a good actor

  • whitehouse,what a comic legend

  • This clip is great, the comic rapport is natural between O'Grady and Whitehouse, both from different entertainment backgrounds but capable here of good-natured interaction of a kind presumably impossible for some of the posters below, with their very narrow perception of what is and isn't 'humour'.

  • Paul Whitehouse is a legend, and it shames me to say I've only recently discovered him when watching the Fast Show for the first time.

Stupid bloody skill-less O'Grady ruining this perfect video, what a silly prick... He should bask in Whitehouse's glory as at least he has masses of talent.

  • O'Grady is no more than a second grade Larry Grayson and Grayson was a big pile of dog poo.

Naff, camp "humour', minus the Carry On cheekiness and absurdity. And a Scouse accent on top of it.

  • @bofursgun I think that's perhaps a little bit harsh but I admit he's not my cup of tea.

  • Aren't you the objective voice of reason, tjf4375?

If I was truly harsh, I would've called Grayson a big pile of dog shit.....

    "Shut that door!"

  • fair enough

  • whitehouse is a genius, the most under rated comedian, comedy writer this country has ever seen. i think harry enfield owes him a pint or two. . . . . . . . . . . suits you harry !

  • Agree totally, the guy is brilliant! As for O,Grady ...he died the day he killed off Lily Savage.

  • gave you a thumbs up there, love both of them but harry's sketches were always more structured. Both of these guys along with charlie higson defined british comedy in the 90's

  • your right gezzer harry`s sketches were more structured but 9 times out a 10 whitehouse or higson would have had written it for him ! enfeild is still legend thou, but higson and whitehouse were the dons......!

  • @uberglocken Enfield is , barring Stavros, a complete ant utter joke. He rarely has a lunch pine worth chopping down to eat.

  • ah here,o grady is alright

  • Johnny Depp once said that paul whitehouse was the best actor he had ever seen. so true

  • @scottybot2003 so did scorsese

  • Rowley Birkin is one of the all-time great characters, i will never forget the line ''and there were 3 tiny bodies, entombed for all eternity!'' painfully funny at the time

  • i think ive seen that one but i cant rememer because.. iam afraid i was very very drunk at the time. . . . . . . !

  • 3:15

  • love him!!! a little bit werrrrr, a little bit wayyyyy, he's a geezer

  • more comedy in that one short interview than an entire series of Little Britain

  • well said dom but i reckon paul whitehouse would be more funnier in one sentance than them two fairys from little britian have done in all of their much over hyped un-funny careers. !

  • @domeyhead1 That's an easy one though, Little Britain is shite.

  • @domeyhead1 you speak gospel so true little britain is shite >.<

  • @domeyhead1 That's because Little Britain was a huge pile of horse droppings dressed up as comedy. Good Gracious Me, The Fast Show and League of Gentlemen were the very height of British comedy over the last 20 or 30 years and probably beyond that. My word we were treated in the mid to late 90's.

  • @domeyhead1 little britain :))))))))))) so not "scorchio"

  • mmm adverts on the BBC, I want my money back!

  • what accent does paul white house have ? is it his real accent ? its south london right?

  • That is his real accent. He was born in The Rhondda Valley in Wales and then his family moved to Essex when he was 4.

  • Paul O'Brian really annoys me here trying to align his Blackpol humour with a considered, intelligent comedian who could have any day could have went internationa ( Depps a huge fan)l. There's a big gulf there, mister! In future no your place and give space!

  • his name's Paul O'Grady. And yes, he was annoying here. Totally out of his depth and should have just sat quietly instead of trying to steal the show.

  • Pleeeeeeaaase release me let! me gooooooo.... For IIIIII don't love yoooouuu, anymoooorre. Her kiss, is warm while yours is coooold....

  • Absolutely brilliant :D

  • Green army!

  • Get on ya Janner!

  • i dont like him-hes a bit creepy

  • Heth-eth-eth sminky-pinky..

  • GREEN ARMY!

  • Year when he says "I held her in my arms..." and looks into the camera I got a tear in my eye.Very touching.

  • Yeah, I remember that one. Very dark. There was scattered applause from the audience - I don't think they knew how to react.

  • i think they did. it had no laugh, just loud applause. they even gave THE moment time to sink in. imo, naturally.

  • Of course I was very drunk at the time.

  • Paul is off it really isnt he ? ; not O'Gradey i mean !

  • funny as hell

  • nice bloke..shame he supports spurs!!

  • One of the biggest all round talents (actor, comedian, impressionist, writer) about today...

  • your not wrong gezzer, whitehouse is a living english legend who deserves more credit than what he gets.

  • i think he's welsh.

  • @Roche1983 your right pal, he was born in wales and lived there for 4 years until he moved to england so i`ll rephase that. . . paul whitehouse is a living BRITISH legend who deserves more credit than what he gets. . . even if he is welsh ! ! BOYO !

  • I agree with the top comment. Such a moving piece by Paul, and ANYONE who does not shed one tear is not completely human and needs to get in touch with their emmotional side.

  • Whitehouse's performance in that story he tells as Rowley Birkin concerning a woman he met in the war is, in my opinion, absolutely unrivaled. So massively beautiful. I challenge you to make me cry in 1 minute and 30 seconds, I don't think you can do it. Whitehouse did. I knew he was a quality comedian, but I had no idea how impressive an actor he was. Outstanding.

  • this guy is the best comedian alive

  • I think you missed the irony in that bit...

  • you got me - Meg and me were clearly unable to understand parky's obvious genius

  • ...yeash! Your very very drunk,

  • i put him in the same boat as ronnie barker. not exactly the wittiest or most physically funny comedian but a brilliant actor with an inherent sense of whats funny and a thoroughly nice chap.

  • well put. he's not "only a comedian", he's also an actor of insane caliber. i mean, birkins lovestory in season 2? (i can link if you wish) i cant see the two oafs from "little britain" making anything that moving, let alone anyone else. (excluding black adders end, that was the previous one which suprised me)

  • He is an absolute ledge!!!!

Probably the best British comedian EVER...in my opinion of course...

I think its tragic how it was Paul who came up with characters like Stavros and Loadsamoney, yet Harry is allowed to take all the credit for it!

  • i think you will find that now they call themselves harry and paul, they are very good friends and always have been. It was called harry enfield and chums before because there were a few other comedians such as Kathy Burke and Martin Clunes. Harry Enfield made the show and BBC developed it for him, Harry enfield is a absolute legend.

  • it was just Harry Enfields Television Program before chums, and though Enfield IS a legend i think Whitehouse has the edge cos he can do far more with his voice

  • Whitehouse comments on this when he and harry does frank and george at an amnesty gig. Its somewhere on youtube, look at it its hilarious.

  • @blahfox Not only comedian but Comedy Actor his face remins me of a Buster Keaton type.

  • @blahfox i wouldn't say harry takes all the credit

  • @blahfox living legde!

  • I thought O'Grady to be a harmless waste of space but when he interrupts an insight into the origins of a fascinating and loved character like Rowley Birkin he is irritating as well.

  • lol parky speaks a bit like rowley birkin QC

  • PUALS A WICKED GUY

  • yeah gutted lol! my mistake!

  • I tend to agree mate who needs some money penny cunt typing it all out still all very very funny. Paul is a gennuis

  • Please dont just repeat the words that were said man,,your not monkeys are you,???????????????//

We all hear the same waords as you,,but we dont all type them out on here man,,get it,???

  • lol Parky "cheeky sod!"

  • isnt it,you know,small boys in the park,guns for goalposts,enduring image

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahah

    very very VERY drunk

  • paul whitehouse my fave comedian and a true english talent i hope to see alot more of him he great!!!!!!!!!!

  • he is welsh

  • Cairo! Bluhblahabeeah

  • i remember fire work display, big bang wosh fiz yes.. i remember one girl got rather badly burnt yes...

  • J. depp said he is the best actor in the world. I think he is

  • i could watch paul whitehouse do rowley birkin qc for days on end.

  • Love it

  • One of the greatest UK comedy TV-series, Paul on the Fast Show, I love his Channel 9 NEUS presenting ;)

    Boutros Boutros Ghali!!

  • Scorchio!

  • I've never met him, had sex with him, ridden on the top of a bus, gone fishing in iceland -and I'm not his nan either....so beat that!

  • eh?

  • Well blow my load

  • Brilliant, he is as funny speaking off the cuff as when he is acting!

  • I haven't met him, had sex with him, or seen him in Bonsai Forest in the early 80's

  • On a bus?

  • i used to know him too.....

  • I used to know Paul(briefly) when he was in Bonsai Forest in the early eighties
