I've seen a lot of documentaries about them, including one where they tested their brains individually to check if they were really working individually and they are completely isolated "electrically" so to speak. They said they would never attempt a separation even if it was possible. Much probably when one dies the other will die quite soon as they share some blood circulation in their brains.

@925shah Usually, with conjoined twins when one dies the other will eithe rdie as well, or shortly die later on. Normally, once the one twin dies and the second DOESNT die, they'd have to carry the dead weight around (which rarely ever happens) and if it does happen, they'll usually try to either do some surgery to help the process or they'll end up putting them down (sad, but it has to happen.)
