I think it would be great if there would be a camera on the hight of the eyes. Because than you could see the steering wheel, you could look in the mirrors and you would get a better feeling for the work of a driver. (sry, my English is not the best;))

@TaylorBlue1981 not sure mate. I think these special helmet cam are decided by the team, only when they want to show it, they give the live feed to fia and the fia gives it to the broad casters.

But it would be cool thou if they have this for all cars:P

I noticed on the BBC onboard only feed that Barrichello had a helmet cam on as well but i can't find any youtube footage of it :(

@linfosoma that is the kers, it harvests energy from breaking and gives each driver (who has it installed) a 6 seconds worth of 80 hp boost per lap.

@linfosoma it denotes the KERS battery level. Each time the driver presses the KERS button, it reduces. You'll see that in keeping with the rules, when the driver crosses the line to start a new lap, it fully replenishes. I hope this answers your question
