What a sweet ride. 1958 was my favorite year for Caddys. And an Eldorado to boot! What a lucky find to have such a pristine example of a historical icon from the great age of American autos. Nice video/editing too! Enjoy that wonderful car!
@DJzSith You are right about the license plates - but unfortunately we have no other choice of plates here in Austria - only these huge and ugly ones ... :-(
@gloidl I know, I am from Romania and we have the same plate design. But on imported cars we use motorcycle plates, becouse they fit better in the space.
this isnt a seville but this is one rare and very sexy eldorado. the seville wasnt made or even thought of until the 70's. this is one bad ass cadillac and the only one with the unique tail end. one of my favorites, keep her tight and keep this baby very happy
@Dresdevious Thanks for your very kind words. Its a 1958 Eldorado Seville though. There were three different Eldorado models available in 1958: The Eldorado Biarritz (Convertible) The Eldorado Seville (Coupe) and the Eldorado Brougham (4 door ultra luxury).
The Seville you are talking about was introduced in 1976 as a new model. Eldorado Sevilles were produced from 1956 to 1960 only.
I hope you treated your wife to a nice dinner. She did an impeccable job of shooting and editing! Crisp and clean, smooth panning and snappy edits truly make this video stand out!
I'm 19 and have recently gained HUGE interest in the dream machines of the '50s...and the Cadillacs are my favorites. There's a fundamental lack of appreciation for this amazing time in automobile history by my generation but I know I can say with confidence that this is a gorgeous car. Kudos to you, sir!
What a beauty. From the glory days of American automotive manufacturing. Before the corruption, the rot, and the selling out of the country and it's industries began.
Outstanding production! I mean the Car, and the Video. I think the chrome trim (inside and outside) must weigh more than many of today's complete cars!
Why? Europeans appreciate them too for their beauty, are we not allowed? As a mode of transport they aren't that great, as a style statement you can't beat them. Lovely throw back from when your country had the financial clout son.
@MegaVector2011 haha no im just saying its weird to see a 50s caddy in england. i sold my 47 pontiac to a man in france last year. i think its cool that people everywhere can appreciate when american culture was awesome
Nice that it's in HD, but I can just look out my window. My neighbor has a 1958, a 1960, a 1964, and a 2009 Cadillac. The 60 and the 64 are sort of... rotting though. Now I bought a 1959 6229K Sedan. :) The circle is complete.
Gerald my x-wife never liked my old Cadillac's and because she didn't want to ride in them she discouraged my 4 kids too, that's one reason she is my x-wife. Hang onto Afra you are fortunate to have a wife into the hobby, and en excellent video maker too! Bob
Thanks for sharing this fabulous Caddie so well portrayed in this video. Did you shoot the video yourself? Also how did you manage to find this remarkable low mileage example of one of Americas finest motor cars. Those were truly the days when Cadillac could claim they were the standard of the world. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. PS The vid was fab, but the windows doing down shot was killer. Just over the top.
Fantastic car and fantastic video. My cousin has owned a 67 Coupe de Ville since he bought it new...now has only around 11,000 miles on it! He put it up for sale a few years ago but was disappointed with the lack of interest (or amount of money offered, I guess). Same color as your 67, with matching color leather interior.
Hmmmmm...excellent video and 1958caddy - very nice - I have 1953 Coupe de Ville , but - needs to be restored from ground...but - stil it is original with only 68000original miles on it...california car. Enjoy your caddy :-)

Beautiful 1958 Cadillac. The 1958 Cadillac was styled so much more elegant and dignified than the overblown 1959.
