I'm not going to lie, Big L is a better freestyler than Slim, but Slim had more intellectual rhymes and complex vocabulary in his early albums, while Big L had intense punchlines and ill freestyles. Slim was more successful because he had better production and the fact that he was a white rapper from detriot, made him more of an icon and recieved more attention. Overall, both are both definitely excellent rappers.

Eminem sometimes does have the sickest flows ever, but for some reason when he battles he doesn't come as hard as he should. I thought it was pretty weak of him to battle rap against Mariah Carey too. I lost lots of respect for him there.
