  • What a hairy man he was.

  • i would literally kill a man for that Tony Clifton marionette.

  • Andy should of just decided to hang up the comic stuff, and be and been an Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA for short), because that's accentually what he was even though they all just called them impersonators. But he was really what we Elvis fans call ETA's, because you could tell he really respected Elvis and had the love, passion and respect for him, to be a great ETA. None of his other stuff seemed to be up to par or could make the fans go wild like his Elvis could, and this video proves it.

  • I thought the OCD thing on Man On The Moon was supposed to be an act.

  • He's really good.

  • this guy was something else... take a look at 1:25 and 138 ... nuff said

  • Puts Vegas impers. to shame.

    Andy did the BEST Elvis.

  • out6...you're a dumbass

  • is he really singing?

  • absolutely. Check out his performance on the Johnny Cash show.

  • i was in the audience there.

  • are you serious? that's enviable!

  • no shit?!

  • awesome!!

  • I'm a lifetime fan of Elvis and impersonators have always irritated me but this bloke was by far the best I have ever seen. He must have studied Presley because he had so many of his mannerisms, even the subtle ones. As others have said, have a look at The Midnight Special show it's brilliant. Thanks for posting one.

  • in the movie Man on the Moon Jim Carrey appeared to portray him as moderatly obsessive compulsive

  • this isnt the one to watch watch johnny cash show impersonation or midnite special ..

  • love it!!! genius.

  • Yes! Finally I have my very own evil clown! Bring it on you goofy SOB. ^_^

  • we're living in a better time now

  • They should have added a short 1/2 sec. echo to his voice.

  • Great sense of rhythm!

  • Elvis loved him just as much as he loved Elvis now they're both gone :-(,,,,,

  • is that guy talented or what?

  • He had BALLS for doing his thing. God bless Andy Kaufman.

  • whatta talent!

  • aw I love his Elvis impersonation,

  • okay. but were you the real Elvis's favorite impersonator? Andy was.

  • But good enough to impress the real Elvis.

  • Watch the Johnny Cash show impersonation and you would not say that.

  • First off, Elvis loved Andy's impersonation and back then, there wasn't all the shockingly good Elvis impersonators that we have now.

  • kaufman is handsome

  • I love Andy Kaufman to bits but his Elvis jumped the shark when he started wearing the wig. And he does appear to be over it.

  • ..and at the very least Andy Kaufman was/is FANTASTIC ! Andy, thanks for the many gifts you gave..

  • The high desk is so disturbing

  • I would say Andy Kaufmans stuff is more entertaining then actually funny.

  • Not everyone has to think he was genius... I think he was original but far from genius. I rarely laugh at his stuff, I just kind of watch like almost everyone else and say, hmmn, interesting.

  • andi dyed a rich man

  • What colour?

  • lmao

  • haha that's a winner, nice.

  • what is wrong with everybody's english on these comments?

  • What comet are you talking abot?

  • lmao

  • well we aren't all americans or british, english is just one language amoung others that we study... :)

  • @grevitoe lol AMOUNG

English may be just one language but when you're posting up comments in english you could have the common courtesy to spell correctly. O WAIT they don't teach that in schools now do they? I am just assuming seeing as no-one under the age of 16 seems to be able to spell anymore.

  • @nerezzatube dats vely funy har har amoung udder tings wun can say right? yu yuk yu yuk

  • What, is he singing the kind of stuff Presley did before he became famous our what?

  • He's singing Presley's 1954 record a cover of the classic "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" or was it "OVER Kentucky"?

  • Sad

  • shut up. would you respect him? he was a comedic genius, he left such an impact on the audience after EVERY SINGLE SHOW, so don't be thinking this is sad, i think you need some help. seriously, respect the dead guy. he was more than you'll ever be.

  • Not him....

    YOU !

  • Sorry...

you are not sad,I just watched half of one of your videos, and realised that you are just too young to understand that some things can seem funny at your age that just aren't at my age.

Keep on making videos, and if you wanna see something really funny, go check out caroline372.

  • I believe it was Andy's voice as Tony, it sounds more like him than like Zmuda's version. When was this special made?

  • Cool video. Andy was unique...

  • even the way he had the audience to the side of the stage is a nod to the elvis comback show

  • I can take Andy or leave him. I do like that he did a variety of Elvis Songs & not just Can't Help Falling in Love! This is good.

  • Well,if you think about it, he was "Crap" really wasnt he! he may well have been a nice Guy in real life, but who, "in their right mind" would pay good money to see this rubbish,

  • Yep..

You can see that he was tired of doing elvis everytime, though he was THE big fan.

You see, if you do the same thing again and again, finally it won't be funny anymore. This time to both, to Andy and to the audience..

You shouldn't repeat yourself, you'll be boring. That's show busines.

But i liked this Andy's show. He is so cute and shy and innocent here, though he was just goofing around. :)

  • Do you know something? I didn't belueve anything that was 'provided' by Andy. He is a manipulator, a genius, when he appears tired, don't believe, when he appears happy, don't believe. You know, if you believe, Andy puts you in the moon... :) He 'killed' himself.(Well done! On time.) All the time he has been crying out: 'dont believe!!' :)

  • exactly!!

i really wanted to know the real Andy but i think it is impossible.. he is so.. can't even find a word that would describe him... :)

  • agree. who knows what was his real name? 'Andeeee Cofman', come on! Other joke. Jewish! Ha! That, the 'real family'? hahaha! Well... there are people HERE IN YOUTUBE who know the true, REAL FRIENDS OF ANDY, like Bob Pagani (no 'friends that' tell all ;)Of course, they will never speak. We can add the GREAT Alan Abel. Both of them are here. Andy Cof-man? How people can believe that such a brilliant man would like to 'resurrect' Andeeeee Caughman- Kaufman- Endis Kaufamanas or watchamacallit?

  • @grevitoe couldn't it be... that he kind of believed in his roles a lot, though? he is really true while being all wrong, do you know what I want to express? btw do you know any books about him? Or by him?

  • hehe andy n his elvis impersonations...this wasn't one of his best though, i know he cud do better ;). i thought the audience seemed too quiet n mean...but they did clap at the end...
