It seems that religion is the evil of wars etc but without religion there will not be a standard of law.

Take the nazis for example, they killed tens of thousands of jews, because they were jews, their religion was judaism. But during these so called dark ages those lesser civilizations converted to Christianity. After that they began to come out of the so called dark and make improvements in technology in the areas of farming, shipbuilding, navigation, ground transportation and a list of other things. Also the Byzantine Empire was not affected by the so called dark ages like there more..............

Take the nazis for example, they killed tens of thousands of jews, because they were jews, their religion was judaism. @admirdrina Only because the Christians and Muslims allow it. People of all three faiths have access to Jerusalem and can pray there if they want, and thats all that really matters. All the fighting for Jerusalem is kind of pointless if you think about though, all three religions worship the same God.

In a very real sense, all Christians and Muslims are Jews, much in the same way that those who profess to Shaivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism, and Smartism are all Hindu.
If greed and corruption are crimes, the defenders of Roman and Meccan Judaism have much to answer for. There's no reason to single out Jon Stewart or Leonard Nimoy for special consideration.

I hate when people talk about the muslim culture. There gains in science in math were stolen off the Bzyantines and off India. There couldnt even build ships or there so so called beautiful Mosques without Christians designing them and building them. After the fall of Rome knowledge was lost in Europe and still Europe made major advancements in technology for farming, transportation, and weapons technology. Most of there gains in math, science, philosophy, shipbuilding, architecture, and a never ending list of things came from Christians and Jews in conquered Byzantine lands or from other cultures. Islam's culture is a lack of culture. That is why it has been stagnant for almost the last thousand years. You quit conquering so you quit having other people's ideas to take. @radhiya2006 The dark ages happened as a result of the fall of the Roman Empire. It fell to lesser civilizations. But during these so called dark ages those lesser civilizations converted to Christianity. After that they began to come out of the so called dark and make improvements in technology in the areas of farming, shipbuilding, navigation, ground transportation and a list of other things. Also the Byzantine Empire was not affected by the so called dark ages like there more..............

As for improving on Plato or Aristotle show me the improvements. Show me the great Islamic philosophers. As for science only working outside of Christianity why except for western made products has every middle eastern country I visited been a throwback to the middle ages?
