i just bought a claud butler cape wrath 2003-2004 for €75. it needs new derailleurs and a chain. what are the best shimano derailleurs? the shimano xt, deore, mega 9 or the altec?
Looks a nice bike. I wonder why they don't fit mudguards as standard anymore. I always get a wet arse when I buy a new bike until I remember to get the mudguards fitted.
@mc1anenny i do not know if my one is a 2008 or 2009, i think it is 2008, but if you are getting the 2009 there wont be many differences, go for it if i was u!
@martinedverlaque i had to, had it 1 year now, had to replace chain, cogs, bottom bracket, brake fluid, brakes. mind you i use it everyday and take it heavy off roading
@aaaarrroo yh defo 09 i had the same bike it stood me at £2000 i had it for 9 months then sold it then wondered why the fuck did i sell it yh very good bike its classed as a off road racing bike abit more than just an XC
