Hey I'm new to catfishing, but i'm starting to get into it more and more. Can you explain to me exactly what you did?Were you using circle hooks? Was your line tight? And how tight was your drag set? Sorry for all the questions, but like i said i'm new!

plus use a catfish charlie dip bait worm works way better than team catfish dip tubes but secret 7 is the best

to keep it on the hook get good dippin tubes chill the bait in the water before u cast start your fishing right before night and through the night they are more active

i tried the secret seven fishing bait and it didnt work at all is there something you have to do to the mixture or just dip it in when u open it?

Secret-7 is still out performing others in my area - but keeping it on the hook is difficult - it works best when fishing in a 'light' current, (channels like current - with slip cork 1 ft off bottom)

I use #4 dough hooks if current not too bad - other timesthe 'furry thang' on a #2 treeble hook - with slip cork

or use magic bait cube - flattened out on bottom of treble then flour on fingers to apply Secret-7 on top

Forgot to mention - it's video called bait hook setup - plus I mention magic bait trick (mixing bait) in other videos.

Also I fish in water 11 ft deep in about 12 ft deep so I don't have to cast / worry about keep bait on hook.

bottom line : keeping bait on hook depends on conditions / tools - but catfish still like Secret-7 around here

Is there any good places to set yo yo's out around the bridge?

Most good places are in swallow water so if I was thinking of night fishing - I might think about using noodles (or jugs) tied to stumps - on the right - immediately after going under the bridge. I've seen 'floating' noodle fishermen catch catfish in that area - since water is deeper than in some other area's (just a hunch - I only yoyo in shallow water when it's not so hot i.e. no experience at this of year

Went fishing earllier - figured I had missed fish - cause they were biting when I got there yesterday e.g. was going to get 'jump start' = catch a ton - WRONG - fished 1.5 hours (started at 4:30PM) - nothing worked and it was HOTTER than yesterday (oh well hope they are back tomorrow :)

In this heat and the hot water -- IMHO the deepest hole you can find (cooler water). In my case, I look for the coolest place (shade) for me (bridge) - and hope the catfish are there on the same day as I am :)

thats it man i buying secret 7 and heading out to the bridge. does the bait stay on dip tubes good?

That is the bad thing - bait does not stay on very well - even when I keep it in cooler - add flour. I use spring treble hooks but size 4 is largest I found and fish swallow hook (often) I've ordered some 'furry things' and other dip bait holders that 'MAY' work better

I fish directly beside under boat - lower bait slowly - helps keep it on hook (some times use slip corks but don't 'cast' far)

We need to convice someone local to stop the bait - shipping cost are TERRIBLE
