@7000ironman Before the Dawn is more like death metal with maybe some classical and goth elements. Although I'm not that familiar with goth myself, Sirenia and Theatre of Tragedy would be a good start.

To tell the truth, I was hoping till the end of the video, that Tuomas would break the chains of this poor man on a chair instead of his head. But the whole thing appeared to be even more philosophical than i could expect - it was himself sitting on that chair chained. Bravo!

I've found that growl vocals are something of an acquired taste, at least in my case. I also couldn't understand what Tuomas was singing, so I looked the lyrics up on Google, copied them to Notepad, and put Notepad someplace on my desktop where I could see the lyrics while he was singing. It only takes a few seconds to do this and makes it a lot more enjoyable to listen to.

Tuomas' singing is actually quite understandable if you know what he's saying, lol. :)
