Great tut. Everything goes fine for me until I try to open CAWworld2.world. At that point I get an error message that the file cannot be opened .... something about protected memory. Then I get another message that CAW has crashed. And indeed it has; it will not respond. I have to close it with Task Manager. So I moved the world and file to the CAW working file but same thing happens, "protected memory" What can I do to fix this please? Thank you.

Thanks a lot for this tutorial. It would be a great way to customise a pre-made world to your own likings. I do have one issue, everything in the video is going fine and at the end i can load the word in CAW but as soon as i want to save it it tells me its failed. So i tried to save it to another new file but when i want to open it it says it cant be loaded.

This means for me i can load the world and change it but i cant save it to get it in my own game :( hope you have a solution

Excuse me if i seem a little dumb find it ,are u saying that we can recreate this town i mean redo it with create a world tool option and do u have time to show one how one will recreate the world .also do u know if in photo shop do have to recreate the object fully with mike shape before photo shop like some objects i see people have create have a little more details that the main object. do not have .

Can anyone tell me how to make a firestation in Create a World. I don't have any of the expansions. If I create a lot, I can choose from a bunch of stuff like police station, city hall etc. everything except fire station! And if in Create A world I designate the lot as a firestation, it just goes to no visitors allowed in edit in game.

@LiimeTV Other than an error saying the file (sunset valley) is not accessible, which goes away if I open it as read-only, everything works fine from the video. My problem comes in trying to save the edits I make to the copy of Sunset Valley. It tells me the file cannot be saved, then, if I closed CAW, I can no longer open the copy of Sunset Valley.

@LiimeTV After trying a few things, it looks like I needed to choose Save As in CAW after opening CAW World 2 and save it as something else. After that, it will save my edits just fine. Thanks for taking time to help with this! Love your tutorials, so happy to be able to edit Sunset Valley now.

@thesimling Same but open the Riverview file instead of the Sunset file. You might also have to change the settings of the neighborhood when you make it in CAW

Just for reference, please do not go to the SimPE site and try to find a program that works in Sims 3. It doesn't.

The program you want is s3pe. (Pronounced "S" "3" "P" "E") You could probably call it "3pe" for short. in future videos.

@jonny234x3 I got this also, but I copied the world file to my desktop and ran the caw tool as administrator and it worked. However, I went through all the steps, and my final Core World 2 world file cannot be opened. :(

@McWolffster Thanks for the help with the world file. Mine worked fine. Only i have to open CAW first then open the World from in there. But i usually do this anyway. Other than that it was fine for me.

@McWolffster Okay I would try it again and make sure you do everything I do on screen. I'm not patronising you just to make sure you did it correctly. Also, are you sure you have the correct version of s3pe 64bit or 32bit? I use 64bit.

CAW seems to be pretty buggy itself on my computer, if I'm being honest, despite the numerous reinstalls I've done, but I guess it's the same for everyone. As for 64 or 32-bit, I have no idea. How can you find out your version, or which one you need?

@McWolffster well if you look at your computer information (by right clicking on computer then properties) that will tell you if you have a 64 or 32 bit OS then you should download the appropriate version of s3pe.

How come when I play Sunset Valley and look at it from the bird's eye view, I don't see any trees? I have to zoom in to see all of them, and I see that you see all of the trees in your video? My computer is high quality, so is there something wrong with the settings in the game? :(
