  • I am now 58 yrs old.,I'd love to be able to sing along with Dan as I used to

  • Hit #2 AC, #7 pop, #14 rock in Billboard. RIP, Dan. God bless!

  • Tim,I want to hit up the sites for letting DanFans know of the concert in Pa. It's a tribute concert being held in Sellersville,Pa. at the Sellersville Theatre on August 13th,which would been Dan's 57th birthday,it's benefiting the PCF.Tickets are very inexpensive. Go to the living legacy website for all details. Jim Photoglo will be on hand as well as Wendy Waldman and many more.headcaseworker and I just got our tickets. Also there is one in Peoria and Austin. Check those dates at the site.

  • Thanks pre10der76...this is an awesome song and performance by Dan. Very grateful that you posted it.

  • Another gem! One of the things I always appreciated about seeing Dan in concert is he never rushed through the music. He delivered a great performance and he never rushed a song or hurried through any of it. I think this video shows that very well. And you definitely got your money's worth!

I agree with the previous post. This is a great way to remember him. Looking good (ripe old age of 31 at the time) and sounding great. Look forward to many more (no one minds the little glitches).

  • Thank you, pre10der, for all your postings. They really mean alot to me at this time. God bless you, Dan!

  • Thanks for posting all these videos. I hope you continue to share them with us.

I think this '82 concert is Dan at his best - looking and sounding awesome and he seems to be having fun.

I think this is the way I prefer to remember him.

  • @kay9pets No, he wasn't having fun. I was working his security that night at the Summit and he was a holy terror towards everyone around him. Being at the other end of his nasty remarks ruined my favorable opinion of him.

  • Wow kind of surprised to hear that. I know everyone has their bad days, and his life had to have been trying at times, trying to please everyone and people making demands. I have heard a few other comments about his temper at shows. It sure looks to me like he was really enjoying performing - maybe that took him away from all the stress surrounding him. I'm sorry you weren't able to be left with a better opinion of him. I still think he was incredibly talented and miss that.

  • Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The quality might not be the best, but this helps me to remember that '82 tour. It was an "innocent age" or time for me. I miss those days, and I miss Dan Fogelberg greatly.

  • Even though the video quality is not the best it is still considerably better than the other video from this show. Dan's vocal quality is also better than the postings from the Soundstage 2003 show. I have been encouraged to keep posting videos from this show even though there are a few glitches. I'm glad you enjoy it!

  • A few glitches is better than not seeing it all!I agree with the Soundstage 2003 comment.Read a comment from a blog. The comment was that they felt he did not sound or look good;that he may already been experiencing some of his illness and did not realize.I totally agreed with their comment. I have watched that concert many times over thinking it was just me.I saw him in 2002 and he sounded and played amazingly. I believe this 82'concert was at The Summit,a venue in Houston. Still a good post!

  • Amy, I've watched the Soundstage show 4 times and I agree, Dan just doesn't seem himself. How I want to yell at him "Go to a doctor!". Even so, it's still DAN!

  • @pre10der76 Dan is always maravilhoso.I love Dan! Love Dan! Love Dan!
