  • Never heard of road bumps causing internal engine failure.

  • I found a bolt loose inside the cover tightened it and noise went away. Motor blew a rod through the block at a track event. I swapped in a F22c1 in it. Back then I knew nothing about cars back then give me a break I didn't think of that valve loose theory my friend did.

  • Found a bolt inside rattling tightened it noise went away. wasn't valve noise motor blew up 10k miles later at a track event. I swapped the F22c1 in it.

  • sounds like exhaust issue

  • Knocked a valve loose?! LOL!!! I hope thats a joke. The engine will rev to 9000rpm daily but if you hit a bump too hard your valves will come loose! I think you may have knocked your brain loose.

  • yeah good idea to rev your engine

  • sound like u knocked somthine looes like the heat shild to ur cat or header

  • A dip in the road knocked a valve loose? That is the most idiotic thing i have ever heard. Also, your valves are fine. The engine would have a dead miss if any of the valves were leaking excessively. It seems to run smoothly.

  • Hey Richard!

Chayton again. Very nice what you did to your valves, you need to be more careful(just kidding) lol
