@hyoncake He's got a great sense of rhythm and is very creative with simple progressions, but he's nothing out of this world. Tim Reynolds on the other hand, is most definitely a master.

@25Ragz Tim is a beast, his solo's are top of the line and as a lead guitarist he's one of the best in the buisness. Dave plays rythym guitar, and there's nothing really outstanding about his playing. try to learn a dave song, it takes 10 minutes tops. still gotta love DMB!

@mbizzle9810 If you're not familiar with Dave style it is actually rather difficult to play. Take someone that is only knows open chords, or even more advanced chords, and tell them to learn Tripping Billies, The Stone, or Captain. Good luck learning that in ten minutes. Dave definitely has a unique approach to the guitar.

@mbizzle9810 Ya, but he has incredible time feel. Playing a DMB tune can be easy if you know what your doing, but playing it like him is another story. Listen to how he kills the 8th note push all day long in this song... listen to the covers on youtube of this tune, no ones got it...but Dave does. I think that makes him outstanding.
