Good grief, that was almost my identical commute everyday! Was nice to sit here in New Zealand watching what I used to do twice a day every day!! A much shorter commute these days! But I do miss those roads, I know them like the back of my hand, especially on a nice summers morning like that!
This would so enjoyable if it wasn't speeded up. Great video ruined. Calm down. Take a deep breath. Smell the flowers. Listen to the birds. And don't be a 12 year old old your life.
Those roads/lanes look udderly confusing. So different than Canada. Maybe its just confusing because its on the opposite side of the road but there are alot of random curves. We basically have straight road after straight road with slight curves in them lol. And the lights on the side of the road instead of overhead...I can guarantee there would be a large amount of accidents here because of people not looking there and thinking there would be no lights in the intersection.
Very nice, Toni. Last time I was in London was 2006 but didn't do any driving. Have you moved there or are you just visiting? Great video and I look forward to more of the UK!
I was in London ´06, ´07, ´08 and ´11 , and everytime by car, because it is only 5 hours from Germany and is by far cheaper than by rail. But normaly i prefer railtraveling. In fact my car travelled trough the channel tunnel by rail, what makes it a rail trip.
what an incoherent road network... If I didn't know better I'd think you were just driving randomly instead of following one "major" road into the city.
@aswchris it seems randomly, but the fist 11 minutes if the video are pure A23 south to north. This was on a Sunday morning by far the fastest option to get in town.
@aswchris that's because London is everything but car-built (unlike dutch cities despite the european origin you'd be wrong thinking you can go without a car there) and you need to know that London consists of more than 30 cities that grew together over time, instead in highways British invested in public transportation which has much stronger effect and better results than giving priority to cars, results which you can see in a city of similar size, Moscow.
love the music!

It is excellent and very atmospheric too, helped along by the music--what tracks are playing?

Was the video's song written by Prince? It sounds like his style.

Pretty cool ride, looks a lot like the cities in the Northeast US in places. Really liked the first song, thumbs up!
