That's a very strange sound to Western ears but I really really like it a lot =D Nice to hear some music from different cultures rather than our own all the time!
I've seen Huun Huur Tu perform here in Chicago - they're Mongolian throat singers, too.
I highly recommend the documentary film 'Genghis Blues' about a blind American musician who taught himself throat singing and got to go to Mongolia for a bug festival/competition there.
