It was Rabbi Ezriel Tabuer who said the statement below about a human being being a unique creature. In his book "Thoughts for a Jewish Home". He defines what the Jew's role in creation is and his relation to it.
A Jew is not just a human being of a different religion. He is a unique creature that is different from the rest of humanity. As different as the plant is to the animal. The G-d serving Jew with his divinity is the highest level of Creation. But who are you anyways? Discover it. You owe it to yourself. Its a tragedy to live your life without knowing who you are. It's the greatest priveledge to be a Jew.
This is real nice. I love to hear people's personal accounts on their survival of the Holocaust. If you want advice, the most viable way you can carry on the legacy of your grandfather's survival and all of Jewish survival is to make sure you take a Jewish girl for a wife. Don't erase what 2000 years has done. Its a holy way to connect to the Master of the Universe and fulfill your role in the purpose of creation.
