Public option will never exist in this country! We need President Sarah Palin to completely kill off all of Obambi's healthcare reform and ensure that government stays out of it. The government has no role in healthcare and Palin will ensure that it remains completely privatized. She will also privatize Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Unemployment and all liberal social programs as a way to completely cut excessive govt. spending!

Something that isn't coming across strongly is what public option are we talking about? Are we talking real public option (the option to buy into medicare), or private mandate (the requirement to buy private if you can't get it through the normal avenue)?

I like these guys, but I feel like they are too half assed. What are they really fighting for? Don't fight for an almost that could very well be worse than we have now.

I want to see progressives opposing the mandate, and I'm not seeing it.

Public option is just another compromise. We had it in Australia for about five minutes and then brought in single payer.

The first public option was only open to those who couldn't get insurance. It wasn't public nor an option. You would be lotteried to a random private insurance company but pay higher rates than normal. Same thing they do with high risk drivers who need auto insurance.

I'm not hearing support of Grayson's Public Option Act. That's what I want to hear.

As you say, Public Option and Medicare Buy-In is already a compromise, not the "uber leftist" position that retarded right wing media makes it out to be. That's why Obama instead of saying "Let's have a public option" at the start of his precidency and then compromise from there should have said "let's have single payer" and then compromise into the public option.

Then change it to single payer five minutes after.
