@ahmed4hunt just click on your ressource income display and it will toggle between percentage and the normal rate, but i prefer the normal income a lot.

You know whats easier than ferrying? Telling your transports to assist your factories.

is the Forged Alliance expansion an improvement to the game, or is it lame? or just ok? does it make the game better?

@MustNotRead Well, I'd say there's an improvement with the campaign, definitely. The skirmish and multiplayer have a new faction and a bunch of new units, plus new experimentals and new forms of AIs. I just think it's worth buying.

It is a vast improvement. I would highly suggest getting it, in addition to the new faction, the UI is much more streamlined (as you can see), and a lot of new, unique units have been added to the existing factions which differentiates them further, an issue I had with vanilla.

I found this video very helpful and informative. Even though I'd completed the game I still learned lots of tips and tricks that I didn't know about that would have made the whole thing much easier (eg transports assisting factories). Thanks for this vid, Babyalien, I'm going to replay the game and see how it should have been done in the first place. 5 stars.

my engineers dont reclaim when i give them the attack order pls help

its an attack move order (alt+click) which is different than clicking the attack button

in certain situations they wont reclaim eg

1) you have full resources so it wud be wasted

2) certain odd bushes wont auto usualy desert maps

is ther a way for units to join an existing patrol path?

is it possible to keep unit's formation for patrolling?

is it possible for transports to be in formation whilst ferrying?

ya

1) select unit(s) to assist unit already in patrol (downside if that unit dies the other look dumb)

2) Erm not sure, try holding down Ctrl+shift when setting up patrol

3) Not afaik

Try adding &fmt=18 to the end of the video and hitting enter. It'll make the quality of the video much better.

in chat, go tools-->options, chat settings and somehwere in der u can set autotime out. change to 60 or less minutes.

what UI mods do you use?

ummm i use gooms UI mod, mainly so that templates work with different races. I use the mex upgrader one, i forget its exact name, its made by one of the czar players, and i use supreme economy v1 from the vault. This is showing me idle mex's and top 5 usages of mass and energy (incase of a crisis!)

There is version 2 and 3 on his website, but i prefer version 1.
