I think the reason he won't play it is because Konstantine is his Seventy Times 7: That song you write at the beginning of your career that explodes and you play to death for years, and are constantly bitched at to play even though you don't feel the way you did when you wrote it and you're sick to death of having to play it.

yeah it's more his soco amaretto lime.when i saw brand new summer of '06, jesse said it was going to be the last tour he would play the song. (he said exactly what you said, "i'm 28 now, i wrote this when i was 18, and i don't care about it" .. basically.)

he also changed the last line from "you're just jealous cause we're young and in love" to "i'm just jealous cause you're young and in love"
