  • I thought the driver was doing a runner for a bit! Nice vid. How many 56's are there inservice still??

  • Like the horn at the start

  • That first train almost had a SPAD... the signal arm was hardly 'off'.

  • What's NOT to like?

  • I don't really like videos which focus on the loco so much. I'd rather see and hear the carriages go buy than see a distant view of the loco at a really acute angle.

  • What was that guy doing at 1:28, getting off the loco? Aren't people meant to wear hi-vis clothing when near the track?

  • th good old days before the 66 invasion

  • Great vid, been such a long while since I heard one :(

  • Last of our British built diesels although some were built in Romania got vertually no interest in the crap we've got running around these days.

  • Brilliant sound, thanks for the upload! Love the scream of the Grids!

  • love that sound of real power

  • Marvellous stuff the Spectoresque "Wall of Sound" isn't done justice by PC speakers. It deffo needs cranking up to #11 for this one

  • Brilliant. Brings back the memories of Barnetby, The Forth Bridge and Newport when these were there on coal trains.

All that compares is the Tractor and nowdays all we have are the silent Sheds and 67's.

  • absolute beasts nice vid
