Boxing and mma are great sports. I think boxing allows for more of a showcase of skill where mma is a quicker showcase of power. It can go either way but typically mma fights are short and action packed and boxing is a process of exposing your opponent. Boxers have longer carrers and become legends we will see what mma fighters become.

Two men step into a ring and have no other tools to use to attack but there fists, if gone at aggressively it keeps you on your toes the whole time.... for exmple the Ward V. Gatti trilogy which was by FAR more exciting than anything I have ever seen in an MMA fight.

Ortiz is flat footed and lunges when he punches. That means he can be open for a check hook or pivot to shot the right hand. Berto was in front of him the whole fight so it was easy to land plus the fact that he stood on the ropes for the first six rounds. The Patterson and Maidana fights were different cause he hit his opponents with a lot and they were still there.This Mayweather fight is going to be good. Boxing and mma are great sports. I think boxing allows for more of a showcase of skill where mma is a quicker showcase of power. It can go either way but typically mma fights are short and action packed and boxing is a process of exposing your opponent. Boxers have longer carrers and become legends we will see what mma fighters become.

I actually still like boxing much more than MMA.... Two men step into a ring and have no other tools to use to attack but there fists, if gone at aggressively it keeps you on your toes the whole time.... for exmple the Ward V. Gatti trilogy which was by FAR more exciting than anything I have ever seen in an MMA fight.
