West Ham should have won that final. They were naive in putting the ball out of play, IN THEIR OWN CORNER, for the three Liverpool players who were down. Almost immediately the three "cramped" players shot up, Liverpool took the quick throw-in, threw it to the West Ham player at chest height who struggled to clear it from that, and it resulted in THAT about 30 seconds later. To this day, I still have no idea why West Ham didn't put the ball out of play by kicking halfway down the pitch.
