  • @esmith4646 or anybody with that kind of point of view, open your minds, is this not proof to you that Muslims are only taught of and come with love. Igrnorance is the ugliest thing in the world but so visible.

  • 'What you gonna do when the love comes to you!!!"

    I'm ready to kill...

Great job, it must've taken guts to get up there and do what you did, Boonaa.

  • I'm a Christ follower, but I agree with the mentality like this. We as humans are made to love each other, not hurt each other. We were made to bring peace, not war. We were made to bond, not separate. I'm patiently trying to be that change in hopes to have that change happen

  • God he is amazingly amazing. Really thats how ppl shld always act, 0ut 0f love.

  • @Efilzeo Outside of religion, anyone says what he wants to say. Are you inane?

  • @Efilzeo why is it bad? dont let the media take over your mind.

  • @786Mujy I'm not influenced by the media. I read the Quran and it is not "ehy we are humans, let's love each other", no, it is not at all.

And if there are other ( male or female) Muslim poets of similar nature, please do let me know. I enjoy poetry very much especially since it's hard to find powerful lines ( in English at least) about our deen. God bless!

  • Everyone here should read about 'AL TAQIYYA"

  • @EriPages According to Wikipedia: "Taqiyya (alternate spellings taqiya, taqiyah, tuqyah), meaning religious dissimulation, is a practice emphasized in Shi'a Islam whereby adherents may conceal their religion when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion."

  • @Annak1963 Quranic verse: "Let not the believers take for friends or helpers

unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, (they) shall have no

relation left with Allah except by way of precaution ("tat-taqooh"), that

ye may guard yourselves ("tooqatan") from them....[3:28] Ibn Abbas also commented on the above verse, as narrated in Sunan al-

Bayhaqi and Mustadrak al-Hakim, by saying: "al-Taqiyya is the uttering of the tongue, while the heart is comfortable with faith."

  • @EriPages my eritrean sister...i think you should read about taqiiya....

  • @EriPages a shia concept they make up 15% of the muslim community the rest of us are suni so i suggest your read about islam of the majority hoooleeer !

  • @cherish933 Sunnis are also divided into four regarding school of thought. Maliki, Shaafaieh, Hanbali and Hanafi. The Shia follow the Ja'afari School of thought. Our global islamic institution al-Azhar University, deem all five schools to be valid approaches to Islam. 'Shia' and 'Sunni' are just labels, we all follow Islam. The difference are in some beliefs and jurisprudence. May God bless all the believers in God.

  • @selachi2009 don't get me wrong i am not claiming you guys aren't Muslim i am trying to clarify to non Muslims that we have differing concepts and notions ie shiism there is muttah the abuse on ashura and taqqiyah these teachings are non existent in our interpretation of Islam . (Ahlul sunnah wa jamaah ).

  • @cherish933 To recommend one sect over the other has a bitter pill. It means you know one to be more superior than the other.

  • @selachi2009 i am not recommending anything i assure you , i have friends from other sects they stick to it and i stick to mine we don't ever discuss our differences but focus more on our similarities, the thing is when non Muslims are curious we cant claim we all believe in the the same interpretation of Islam ,i don't agree with much the teachings of Sufism/ shiism and do'nt mock ridicule their followers im no hardcore suuni like some and superiority only belongs to Allah(swt) not one sect.

  • @cherish933 Ahsant, and to Allah s.w.t. is our return. But honestly i strongly recommend looking into the other sects, not to change but to have that expanse. I pray with Wahhabis, Sunnis, Shias I'm fine understanding their viewpoints. I was essentially Sunni myself for a while. It secures your faith, and questions it too, and when you find the answer you are so much more stronger. The atheist argument becomes lighter than a feather and your love for Allah s.w.t. soars! I recommend al-islam org

  • @selachi2009 i doubt i can ever research other sects , im happy alhamdulilah to answer your points 1) Some of those who said that misyar was permissible have retracted that view. Among the most prominent scholars who said that it was permissible were Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz and Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez Aal al-Shaykh; and among the most prominent scholars who said that it was permissible and then retracted it was Shaykh al-‘Uthaymeen;

  • @cherish933 andmost prominent scholars who said that it is not allowed at all was Shaykh al-Albaani. so for me their is no misyar its not a stable marriage 2) no record of ashurah abuse in the sunnah of Mohammad(saw) 3) taqqiyah your right here ,but in shiism it can be expanded more than in the case fear of ones life being at risk . Ameen to your dua ;) may we all find the correct and pleasing most pleasing path to him and stay upon it

  • @cherish933 Umm Salamah has said: "al-Hussain entered on the Prophet (S), while I was sitting at the door, so I saw in the hand of the Prophet (S) something he turned over while (Hussain) sleeping on his stomach. I said: Oh messenger of Allah, I looked and saw you turning something over in your hand when the kid was sleeping on your stomach and your tears were pouring?

  • @cherish933 He said: Gabriel came to me with the sand upon which he (Hussain) will be killed. And he informed me that my nation (umma) will kill him."

    al-Musannaf, al-Hafidh abu Bakr bin abi Shaibah, v. 12.

  • @cherish933 Retracted view or not, it was valid until it was retracted. i.e. for 1300+ years. This is just a jurisprudential ruling, it does not make a sect wrong. Alot of our hadeeth have issues, and we based our rulings on them. Some are considered Weak or Strong and these make up our beliefs and practises. The Shia have hadeeth saying Islamic marriage, with a set period is strongly valid. They have a right to Ijitihad as all Ulama do. It is wrong to claim their hadeeth are all false (some do)

  • @selachi2009 i've seen sunni's who claim shia and sufi are kaffir i've always felt the opposite not because i agree with these sects teaching but more so that i still see a Muslim behind all that they believe i am not claiming that im perfect but i do see many many muslims commit shirk and claim it zikr and engage in biddah and claim its a good innovation when our prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said All innovations lead to the hell fire.

  • @cherish933 Imam Bukhari writes Umar [May Allah be pleased with Him] ordered that congregational Taraweeh prayer should be offered together. When the people started this and Umar saw this he said This is a good bid'ah. [Bukhari Kitab-us Taraweeh]

In Islam across all sects we have concept of Good and Bad Bid'a according to Sunnis too.

You're right, I agree 100%. I believe some Shiah do Shirk Khaffi (hidden Polytheism). But this is not in our books or our belief system at all.

  • @cherish933 Our religion is based on Tawheed, how on earth does one come to worship The Prophet, Ahlul Bayt or Sahaba after accepting Tawheed? Unless they are ignorant of their own deen. Shia Islam, which considers itself as Quranically following the successorship of divine appointment and not political consensus, has rememberance (dhikr) of blessed people. Allah tells us to remember Maryam a.s. and many other in our book. Remember their stories and learn from them. This is the essence of Ashura

  • @cherish933 For some reason, people make blood baths and think one tear for the Museeba of Imam Husain a.s. without the 5 pillars will bring you Jannah. To these deviant people I say some Sunnis are more Shia than you people claiming to be Shia. Remember, all sects have their issues, I know some sunnis who cannot stand the austere Islam wahhabism preaches where even touching the Prophets belongings is shirk (Despite the fact the Sahaba used to jump at his Wudhu water and take blessing from it)

  • @cherish933 Your criticisms are very valid brother/sister but believe me, the intention is something you cannot see. If we bow in front of the Ka'aba, our intention is to connect to Allah s.w.t. yet some view us as worshipping a Box in a Desert.

Reflect on this: Charles Dickens (English novelist): “If Husain had fought to quench his

worldly desires…then I do not understand why his sister, wife, and children

accompanied him. It stands to reason therefore, that he sacrificed purely for

    Islam.”

  • @cherish933 All that Islam has, the entire Ummah is in debt to Imam Husain a.s. Even Sufis Sunnis and Wahhabis. We Shia follow the Prophet's Progeny, and there knowledge and hadeeth is the only evidence we need. Whatever shirk some Shia, Sunni or Wahhabi might do, is there business. But our books, and respected Ulama, do not have this.

  • @selachi2009 the entire ummah is in debt to Allah(swt) for blessing us with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him ) FIRST and foremost. we are the ummah of muhammad ( peace be upon him) not our beloved Husseinmay Allah be pleased with him ) . we love him but he wasn't a prophet of Allah(swt) and if there was ever to be a prophet after Muhammad(peace be upon him ) it would be Umar as the prophet stated himself. (saw). although i love hussein (ra) and the rest of the progeny more then the dunya.

  • @cherish933 more then life itself , clearly we have differing views i would go on but its better u ask a learned muslim as oppose to an individual like me im only a novice. ;)

  • @cherish933 The Prophet is before all mankind, even before our own souls.

I did not say Imam Husain was a Prophet. An Imam yes.

According to Abu Hurayra the Prophet did many things not worthy of mention.

The condition of love in Islam is obedience. "In kunutum tuheboon Allah, at-tabiooni, yuhbibkum Allah" You cannot claim love of the Progeny of Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) without first obeying them. "la asalakum ajra, ila muwadata lil qurba"

You can listen to Umar, we listen to the Purified House.

  • @cherish933 But look your entitled to your opinion, your autonomy is a God given right and I respect that. Just remember, You have not studied other sects and therefore have a narrow viewpoint of them. I have studied yours.

I have provided your own books for evidence and Allah suffices as witness.

I feel no need to justify my positions as I believe in them strongly. But only to build bridges with others and to show them that all is not what it seems.

    Salam Alaykum Respected brother/sister.

  • @cherish933 Ziwajul Muqata'a (Muta'ah) Temporary Marriage is in Shia Doctrine, but Permissible by Ahlul Sunnah wa Jama'a as 'Misyar' the condition being that it can only be used in travel. Taqqiyah (hiding of ones faith if in danger) is justifiable with evidence from many sources I can discuss with you if you like. Abuses on Ashura as rememberance of the Brutal Marytrdom of Imam Husain (a.s.) at the hands of Yazid is nothing part of our islamic interpretation neither is it in our Aqeeda.

  • @cherish933 Always keep an open mind and consider your options. And remember, we think majority to have the most truth, but everywhere in our book a majority is mentioned it follows that only a Few truly know God.

This is not a discussion here, but I can refer to some resources which discuss the differences in a positive and unbiased way. Otherwise May Allah bless you on your journey to him, and I sincerely wish it is one of choice, not one you were born into.

    Salam.

  • @selachi2009 cant see what you are writing odd . i am off its almost 3 am in the morning here , but we are most definitively on two different pages literally two whole different books different sources and references and interpretations of qua ran ( tafseers) rather scary how Muslims can be so divided but Allah(swt) know best .

  • lol i like that 'fundamentalism starts with fun', Allahu Akbar :)

  • Well, you know I'm likely to retaliate with a big hug. :0) Keep shining your light!

  • 6 atheists watched this video.

  • you should speak to Niel Boortz....you totally change his view on life..keep it up may Allah bless you my brother.

  • this is very beautiful masha Allah

  • If he remix it and put on Itunes I am totally buying it! He is awesome! ^_^

  • People like this give me hope that our world isnt screwed just yet

  • he's so inspiring

  • 6 people should be killed with love...

  • Hmm, a charming islamist with an interesting approach in dawah. How interesting.

  • well i cant agree more , he changed alot of things inside me , god bless him

  • In Islam there is no "Black African Muslim" There is no "White American Muslim" Either. I liked the presentation too.. I guess we both have something in Common that lead us to both like this Poem..

  • What's with the haram Police yo!!!! Allah is the ONLY one that can judge us! If u don't agree DONT WATCH!!!!

  • fake

  • As salaamu alaikum brother Adam....@convert2islam.....I see nothing wrong with a poem which he uses to express himself in a positive way.....his modesty is correct....no instruments...his polite clever and nice manner for speaking is a plus....we need this expression from Muslims..because he uses poetry a (rhyming with words) its not KUFFAR....heavy metal requires instruments....last I checked....none of the above applied...borderline rap it is NOT....

  • This is border line rap, may Allah protect this Ummah from the evil rap industry influence upon Muslims.

This is like a White Muslim speaking words of poetry with a Heavy Metal style. It has no place in Islam.

Islam is a prefect deen, we don't need this rap style poetry. Let us not follow the influence of the kuffar. May Allah guide the speaker back to the sunnah. Ameen.

I but zero value of this form of so called "art'. I'd rather pick up the Qur'an and be blessed by it's power.

  • @Converted2Islam The sahabas used peotry in their efforts to bring the muslim ummah closer towards islam bro, at times I think a person's intentions should always be taken into consideration before you jump to a conclusion or make a judgment. Hassan ibn Thabit was a poet and a companion of the Prophet, the only difference is that he wrote in arabic n this is english.

  • @Converted2Islam Brother, you must understand the concept of poetry in Islam first to speak about it. You make it sound as if Poetry was recently invented. The arab race has been using it pre-Islam and the qur'an itself is a sense of beautiful poetry. It even has a chapter on poetry. Look it up. Also, poetry in islam is similar to music...it spreads you further from the deen but in no way is this different from Nasheed. Just saying....check your references brother

  • rastafarI...yesssss I

  • @cplecrakks " Yeah you're a racist but I'll still hold the door open for you "

  • @cplecrakks

    and what's the reason?

  • @bellychearsnot why should u take always the bad side and forget the good side , is that mean that u want to hate no matter what u have seen from good manners ? and who side that all terrorist are Muslims ? do u even know how many terrorist are outside there to judge that most of them are muslims ? just for ur knowledge that most of the victims from terrorist action are Muslims

    Prophet Muhammad said:

"The most perfect in faith amongst believers is he who is best in manners and kindest to his wife." [Source: “Sunnan” of Abu Dawud]
