  • I'll wait for the next redesign. This looks too conservative and bland.

  • Dont compare this to a Benz you fool!!!! Just coz your from Japan you have to promote this car.

  • If you squint it looks like an Altima lol

  • i have this :D

  • Who in the hell uses a 2010 G37xS to haul lumber?

  • @golfbeast19 my sister packed her IS with cargo before

  • Kelsey Mays is a SISSY. He's the only reviewer that appreciates the Non-Sport model of every car he reviews. And he's a guy. Smh.

  • Love this car, but it's kinda hard finding the xS models though

  • LOVE lexus IS

  • Kelsey Mays is the ultimate man-child.

  • Best Cars.com reviewer.

  • I'm waiting for the next generation G bodystyle and if they will offer a 6 speed manual with AWD.

  • we dont give a shit if you think it doesn't look that great...

  • whats the box on the bottom grill?

  • @sycopath417 that's the cruise control thang. comes with technology package, which also includes active headlights that turn.

  • @ironchopsticks oh ok cool would have been nice of him to tell us , lol

  • Generic.

  • nissans and infinities just don't have it...

  • The Infiniti g35 and g37 SEDAN has always been a toned down kind of boring LOOKING car. This refresh with the front bumper helps, but it isn't the greatest looking car compared to the look of the Lexus Is, Acura TL, ETC..

The intake port in the middle of the bottom grille looks out of place, I don't understand it.

  • LOL the IS is the slowest competitor in this segment & not to mention one of the blandest exterior designs available in the compact luxury segment, and thats opinion but its stated in every review. If anything the Infiniti G37 looks like a Ferrari next to the IS250. The Lexus IS isnt even a sport oriented sedan its more along the lines of the Japanese Mercedes while the Infiniti is the Japanese BMW. And please Acura is never even compared to other luxury competitors, they arent taken seriously.

  • I disagree, the 04-08 outsold the infiniti g35. Not to mention the new tl, despite it's nasty design is a real gem of a car. The IS is a little boring, but the IS350 aint slow

  • @davewhodavedunn No one is saying the Acura TL is a bad car but its not really something you think of as a Top dog competitor in the luxury car market. Acura is more of an extra option its not really an alternative to the BMW,Lexus or Infiniti.Whether you admit it or not Acura has never been given recognition in the luxury car market, they just arent up to the standards or class of the already thriving luxury auto makers such as BMW,Infiniti, lexus, Audi or MB.The IS350 is not slow & its not fast

  • I would say Infiniti is in the same boat as Acura...that is why ppl cross shop the two. You can't compare a Infiniti to a Mercedes or BMW as much as I think you wish you could.

Althought it's all in a name. In reality Acura and Infinti make more reliable cars with better interior design and materials, and overall better cars....Merc and BMW just have a better house hold name...

  • @davewhodavedunn I dont understand how you think its on the same boat as Acura. For starters Acura being a "luxury auto maker" as they call them selves have no direct competitng vehicles with their rivals. No coupe, no convertible or even a Performance line. Infiniti is way ahead of Acura, their coupe competes with the BMW 3 series coupe & Conv, Audi A5 & MB Coupe, what does Acura have? Where is their M-series or S-line. Infiniti already has an IPL Series coming this NOV, its not on par at all.

  • I realize you have a Infiniti, but get off there dicks lol. Yes they are good, but at the same time, how many people who are out to buy a BMW or Mercedes say, "maybe I should look at Infiniti". None... That is why Acura and Infiniti are in the same boat. Take a look at any auto magazine, you will see that it says the acura tl competes with all the cars you are talking about, including your dick riding infiniti.

  • As for Acura not having a performance brand. They have Type is. They have not come out with the new TL Type S but it is on the way. They also (In Canada) Have the ACURA CSX Type S Sedan. You are right, they need a broader line up, they will get there.

  • @davewhodavedunn This is where I have the pleaure to tell you Im a cross shopper & dont be so quick do judge someone when you dont know thier past history.Clearly you lack the knowledge to read my past comments on this video regarding the G37 and the BMW.I have was already a previous owner of a 07 BMW 328i sedan, I had the car for 2 years, it was a good looking car car but the german quality was horrible, i had 2 tail light go out, HPFP failures my second year alone. I traded it in for an 09 G37

  • @Johncarson9113 I'm just curious. How do you get a HPFP failure in an 07 328i when it does not have one?

  • Wow your dumb, unless my BMW mechanics where retarted, the majotrity had HPFP failures, the low pressure fuel sensor has become suspected of causing some premature failures of the HPFP.BMW has engineered a newer HPFP model which has not resolved the issue. Drivers being stranded are not uncommon and some have accused BMW of actively concealing the problem rather than addressing it, if you new anything or owned a BMW you would know thier are several class action lawsuits against BMW North America

  • BMW owners are more likley to cross shop an Infiniti opposed to a Lexus or an Acura, the driving dynamics of an Infiniti are almost on par with BMW not to mention the quality of materials in an Infiniti are long term and reliable.I loved my 3 series but once you drive a 328i and drive a G37 youll feel the soul in an infinti over the BMW, BMW has great designs and great engineering if your buying an M-series, the G37 dilivers, Im not saying Infiniti is #1 becuase quite frankly Im new 2 the brand

  • This is such a great competitor to its German rivals. The 2010 Design of the G37 sedans front fascia looks perfect, as if the G sedan wasnt sporty enough the new front fascia just gives it that much more of an appeal. I think Infiniti might just be the next big thing, they are easily reaching the top in this luxury market, Infiniti is more of the Lady Gaga of luxury cars in our generation while BMW and Mercedes are more along the lines of a Britney spears, still respected and famous but OLD NEWS!

  • it looks like a nissan maxima! which ist such a good thing

  • looks like one of it's teeth fell out. What's the deal?

  • Happy Birthday Kelsey Mays. You rock!!!

  • the bumper on the sport G series is not there just to look better, they re-designed it to make the car have a firm grip while driving, and the bumper gives an air passage, sort of like a down force.

  • The Infiniti G37x is my favorite car!!!

  • What's up with the wierd rectangle design on the drivers side of the front lower intake?

  • @bigretardhalo ITS for the radar guided cruise control the radar lives in that and tracks the car in front when activated

  • @maeng97 Thanks I thought it might be that I just wasn't sure when he didn't mention it in the review... usually an option like that gets a mention. I am kinda dissapointed too... I really would have thought Infinity would have done a better job of integrating that into the front air intake to make it look symmetrical or more integrated with the overall design. Still a great car just wish they had "hidden" that a little better.

  • @bigretardhalo it's really challenging to integrate that system but mercedes, bmw, and even HYUNDAI integrates it, look at the hyundai genesis with smart cruise control and you just that masline grill and yeah, infiniti should more money on their research they should be embarassed to be technologically beaten by a korean company (btw im korean lol)

  • @bigretardhalo Good question I'd like to know

  • @bigretardhalo i was wondering the same

  • @bigretardhalo its racecar-ish?

  • @bigretardhalo ICC Intelligent cruise control. It measures the distance between the car in front of you and dabs at the brakes should you become inappropriately close.

  • @bigretardhalo I think it is radar system that detects the distance of the cars in front of you when you engage cruise control. Anything besides that is totally new to me as well.

  • @bigretardhalo its just like u said....its an intake

  • The rectangle is the housing front sensors, especially the intelligent cruise control

  • @bigretardhalo its for the intelligent cruise control radar that will help break when it detects close objects

  • To me the front end design looks way better than the 07 g sedan. Great car!!!

  • Happy 16th birthday Kelsey mays

  • @ThinkerMister11 LMAO, NOW HE'S GONNA GO BUY A SCION TC WITH LICENSE PLATE: "I'M SIX FEET TALL"

  • @khdude2000 ...LOL!

  • i love my G37x coupe. if i were to nitpick, i'd wish for less weight, daytime running LEDs, and greater storage space. oh, and i wish the coupe wasn't the most stolen vehicle other than the escalade...

  • @ironchopsticks The New generation of the 2013 Infiniti G37 coupe and sedan are expected to recieve LED daytime running lights. Unfortuantley rumors are Infiniti may become partners with Mercedes Benz which will alow them to share E-class and C-class Platforms for the new generation G-sedan. The New Infiniti DX crossover is expected to share similar platforms as the Mercedes B-class but of course in the suit of the Infiniti signiture design and powered engines. It will compete with the BMW X1

  • Loving the new front end design both on the regular and sport trims. This is what it should have been all along, in my opinion.

  • Nice car..

  • Third!

  • I really have set my sights on this car. Hopefully something could happen between Thanksgiving and Christmas time. Thanks for the review!
