this episode os based on the short story "Its A Good Life" by Jerome Bixby which was adapted into an episode of The Twilight Zone and re-imagined for the Twilight Zone movie. a sequel for the revived Zone was also produced.

@torrentANONYMOUScodc Twilight Zones it's a Good Life starred Bill Mumy who later played Will on Lost in Space. Whatever he wished for happened and everyone was affraid of him.

His dad, Robert Walker Sr., played one of the greatest screen film villans ever in Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train". The resemblance between father and son is spooky.

Great episode! The perfect Trek plot...someone beams aboard, they have God-like powers, they cause trouble then disappear at the end. And there's a moral to the story - immature kids can't be trusted with weapons. Bowling for Columbine Trek style! ;)
