EODs kill most American and allied soldiers in the middle east so it's pretty obvious that no real servicemen would ever write "fuck EOD" so just don't take them seriously. :)
You are confusing IED with EOD. An IED is an improvised explosive device, and these are responsible for most of the injuries and deaths. EOD stands for explosive ordinance disposal. EOD personnel make every attempt to find and "render safe" IED's.
Anyway, my point was it's impossible to protect yourself from this kind of warfare (IED/VBIED) and it doesn't matter if you're a SEAL or a civilian truckdriver, or a child. When it goes off it goes off and all EOD-personel do a great job that all servicemen appreciate. Hence writing "fuck EOD" strongly suggests that you're just a 14-year-old-Counterstrike-wannabe. :)
